Default Gotta go to the dealer to have the foglight replaced

So I go out to my car this past Sunday and notice the round chrome cap that covers the fog light bulb has fallen off and is laying inside the housing, anyone had this happen to them? Its not the entire cap, just the dome portion of it. Also, is there anything I need to make sure they so when replacing the fog light housing? Thanks inadvance guys!

the exact same thing happened to my drivers side fog light. they actually replaced the whole fog light assemble and the tech gave me the old bulb to use as a replacement when needed. took them about 1 1/2 week to get the part in and 30 min to install. pretty straight forward.

WOW!, 2 days after I ordered it, it came in already! I'm going into the dealership tomorrow to have it installed.

that's fast service. my dealership takes at least a week to get anything needed in.

All taken care of, but they didn't give me the old bulb back. Maybe they just re-used it. It took them about an hour total and I was on my way.

Yep mine did the same thing. It was like that when I got it and they fixed it. The car had about 30,000 miles on it.

Tell them to prove it, and make a big deal about it at the dealership. Make sure some of their customers hear you too. Then after you make them fix it tell them on the way out that you will never be coming back to them, and don't they are not the type to take care of you. And if you must take it up the chain.

I'd never pay to have that replaced. If it wasn't covered under warranty, I'd just come up with some mesh, cover the area with it and buy some aftermarket PIAA foglights/driving lights which are WAAAAAAY better anyways. Just my .02 cents worth.
