Default Headlight haze

Hi
I have been reading all the talk about that headlight lens haze that many have complained about. I too have it on my 2004. I got a great polishing/cleaner kit for lenses. While it cleaned the lens, it did not remove the haze totally. In fact, a great deal of it remains. I know it's on the inside.

I have the TSB printed out to take to dealer with me. Question: If they replace the vent/hose with new kit, does the haze REALLY clear up what's in there already?? I find that hard to believe since mine is really yucky.

Wouldn't it be better to have the whole assembly replaced?

What are your experiences, please.

I forgot to add that my "discoloration" is more like junk that was splashed on the inside. Very weird actually.

Thanks!

Cool Re: Headlight haze

The seal around my passenger side headlamp had become defective/broken and allowed dirt and water to get inside the lense. My dealer replaced the headlamp under warranty.
