Just want to say hello!
Well I'm finally in my Crossfire Ltd Coupe. After two PT Cruiser's (a LTD and a GT) I'm finally in my dream car. I was long time member of the PT Enthusiasts (PTE) and I hope I can make some friends here. After a year of back and forth I'm finally in a beautiful Metallic Grey, 6 speed LTD. Truly one of the coolest cars I've ever owned (a Vette, 280, 300z's, z-28's etc)!

Re: Just want to say hello!
Thanks folks, it already feels like home here. Like I said, I spent a lot of time on the PTE forums and this looks like the same bunch of great people.
So here's my first dumb question. Who makes a cargo cover for the rear compartment? I saw one in a picture but I can't seem to find it on the web anywhere.
Thanks - Pat

I ordered mine from: www.moparpart.com or you can check out www.newmoparparts.com as well. They both offer discounts and even with shipping it is less than retail from the dealer. Hope you are a DIYer though if you order it...it is a little bit of work to install.

Welcome to this great website PATPUR. I've owned every one of the (sports cars)that you mentioned, and I feel the same way about our Crossfire, it really is the nicest car of the bunch. I'm sure you will really enjoy it.

Re: Just want to say hello!
I looked into the cargo covers from all over. the one from the dealer is the best way to go. If you can get it from another source cheaper, by all means go for it. But the original equipment fits in a lot nicer than any other.
It's not that hard to put in either. Just cut a few holes in the carpet covering the back of the bulk head and screw in the supplied hardware. The hooks on the rear are a little time consuming, but they hold quite well.
I'd also invest in the front bra. That is a must for a low sitting, fast moving car. Believe me. Just remember to remove it every other week and wash it and the car. Put wax under there before you replace it as it WILL scratch it if you forget to clean it properly.
I'm in the process of fabricating a few chrome nerf bars all around. This will help protect the little guys in such a harsh environment.

Re: Just want to say hello!
Hello everyone,
I was searching to where I can say hi and since this Thread entitled as such, I take it this is as good a place to start as anywhere else.
The crossfire has been with my family especially my parent for almost a year. Only now that I have been granted to drive it. But I am very new to this forum. Hoping to explore and gather much more knowledge to have a better understanding of my crossfire. Now I can say 'my'.
Hope I will have many friends as well.
Gwen

Re: Just want to say hello!
Hi Gwen - My son (19) "chomps at the bit" to drive my car. I let him drive it right after I brought it home, he took a 5 minute spin but he has his own 04' RSX-S so he's gotta be happy with that ride for now, I'm selfish.
Be careful, be safe and enjoy the car!
