Lightbulb door jam Drivers side

Can't figure this out. The back of the drivers side door jam is getting pin head size nicks through the paint. As I am getting in or out of the car I do not touch that area. ???
Any comments?

Yup... you are letting your shoulder strap seat belt off of your body AFTER you have opened the door. If you let the seat belt go it will "THWAP" the metal keeper into the wide door jam and make tiny dings in the paint.

I have two dings which I filled in with touch up paint.

I feel this may be the cause. Open of other ideas...?

Are the marks by the door sills? I have the same problem with my Crossfire, if that is where it is happening for you. I am extremely careful when I get in and out of my car, so I know it was not caused by me.

Jwheeler....
The jam is the back of the door entry where the door latch attaches.
The sills are the long horizontal part of the same opening.
These chip marks I discussed were in the paint on the rear jam area and seem to be caused by the seat belt when it whips around and smacks the painted jam.

Typhoon55:
Thanks for the comment on the Cobra... she is spectacular to drive...
However, the Crossfire is a daily driver for me...where the Cobra is a fair weather weekend ride only.

The Crossfire replaced my SC400 Lexus (son is now driving it).
I spend alot of time in my daily driver so the Crossfire adds that fun factor.
Also under consideration for the SC400 replacement was the G35 Coupe' from Infinity or a Mustang GT V8. Neither were available the way I wanted them at the time.
And a new Lexus SC430 is just too darned expensive new (for me) for a daily driver.
I got a great deal on the Crossfire.
So far she has been a nice ride.
