Does anybody else have a sunroof in their crossfire?
This is a 2005 N\A white ltd. It had this when we purchased it. It can be opened to any position or closed but the rear is open. The sun filter can be shut in either open sunroof or closed sunroof. I have no idea who did the install, but it is flawless for aftermarket. Personally I would have never cut the spine. I have to say it is pretty nice to drive it with an open top and a manual trans. What do you all think about this?
Re: Does anybody else have a sunroof in their crossfire?
I saw a Crossfire For Sale located in Charlotte that had a Sunroof/Moonroof installed in it. I contacted the owner and asked about who the installer was. Owner sent me a link & I'll have to look to see if I can locate it again.
Re: Does anybody else have a sunroof in their crossfire?
I have seen one in person at the dealership where my wife was working at the time. It was very well installed but the area around the spine looked a bit odd.
I personally do not like them, I think if you rolled the car, god forbid, it would be a weak spot and have weakened the roof as well.
We have one on my wife’s Hyundai and it has never been used in ten years. If she wants fresh air she opens a rear window and forgets to close it at times, it was open in a rainstorm once but the wind came from the other side of the car and inside it was just a little damp.
I would never decide on one as an option.
