Default 2 new OEM headlights

Hi everyone!

Well, I had a shop offer me a free headlight restoration. They have done one on my old Crossfire Coupe and always came out fantastic. They basically ruined the headlights (scratched, rough patches, more cloudy than before). I am fairly sure with a headlight restoration kit I can wet-sand them and get them back to working order but the shop is not willing to get me two new headlights. I can still "fix" mine later on.

QQ: 1) Are they still available, new OEM? 2) How difficult is it to install them? I'd rather install myself than them touching again.

Thanks for any input.

Nick

I have one new, in a box, Driver side headlight I bought as a backup in 2008 however I paid $1200.00 for it back then. I actually had both sides, but My Grandson hit a wild pig in Arizona, so I used one to fix his Crossfire.

The business is willing to pay for 2 OEM new headlights and wlll go through their insurance. Lots of headlights on Ebay used ($300-$500) but trying to find a set of new ones if they are still around.
Figured it would be difficult to find them. They were originally made in Belgium and the business went out of business a few years back if I remember correctly. Not that they would have made any "additional units" anyways....

Was hoping someone stumbled across new ones somewhere.

@Zeracer - since they are incredibly rare to find, hold on to it. I need two anyways I guess I could buy decent looking used ones on Ebay and then get a shop to refurbish them and have the shop that messed up mine pay for it.
