Yeah, but even that grill is not acceptable. It does not follow the contours of the factory grill. I informed CTD that the grill should follow the contours of the factory grill. That giant space left on the front bumper looks stupid. Look how far back that grill is set, its almost vertical.

I'm looking for a grill, set in a bezel, which follows the factory lines. That way it looks factory and not rice.

From what I can remember it did without the chrysler badge top and flowed from the lip of the bonnet/hood.

^^^ If they could make a bezel out of fiberglass or carbon fiber that would follow the contours of the hood and then flow down to the bumper in the same shape as the factory grill and then have the mesh behind that it would look like a factory piece.

I know its hard to picture what I'm talking about but just think about the grill "SET" into a 1 inch bezel which is sort of like a surround which is body colored and the grill sits in that slightly back.

Ugh, I need to photo shop this bit*h.

Here are my lowers, I like it.
I have not gotten the itch to make an upper yet.
I would buy one if it was nice.

Actually I kind of like the way it is set in. If you look at the lower grills, they are set in also. I think it matches nicely.

i would prefer it is flush as well and not set back, just like the aftermarket 300c grilles.

Yes, I don't like it neither. Saskins made a custom grill too. Good work, but I don't like it. It's too far in the back.

On this one, looks like you can see too much stuff through it. I don't care for that.

Also, remember it doesn't have to be mesh. It can be aluminum with the holes like the grill on the Land rover sport and SLK.

I'm going to try my best at photoshop tonight.

CTD, keep an eye on this thread. Thanks

Something's wrong with the website.

Here's the photoshop from a Bentley Continental GT.

Holy crap Cyril that looks hot!

I would also like to see a little thicker bezel though.

If they can make it so it is exactly the contour of the factory grill I'm all over that.

I don't like the one on the silver car AT ALL. Looks cheap and its to darn thin. The mesh has to be BEEFY AND EXPENSIVE LOOKING.

I am not a photoshop pro but have had a go at putting the 300C grill on the xfire - sorry that it looks a bit bent - i am an amateur - anyway this is what I want!

Note: put a higher res version in my gallery.

This one from the Bentley actually matches the plastic stock lower grill. You can just send it to http://www.mmmetalizing.com/ for chroming. I also like the chrome surround of the grill!

Here's where I copied the grill from:

Here's a different angle:

Cyril, I think that first pic you put in looks the best. See how THICK the mesh looks. That is exactly what we need. Anything else looks cheap. I like the thicker bezel to. Can you please send that ASAP to CTD? That looks great. And yeah, the chrome surround is great as long as its not that cheap thin plastic chrome crap. Its gotta be as thick as that pic and made out of metal or it will look like complete as* and I won't buy it.
