brent245, are you comparing the performance of the car to RSX or Type-S? Regular RSX was really slow and type S is only a slightly faster.

Here is one 64 miles from where you are at. A little birdie told me that DL has them as well.

I did not see that one yet. Thx for looking for it.
But it is 5 speed Auto and I know I would be bored with AT. I need 6 speed manual...but that is a heck of a price...how is the AT?

Edit...N/M, that one is 2004 and I am looking for '05 MT with low miles only...

I kinda agree with a previous poster that this car is not for you if what the key is like even enters into the equation. Most of us that were early buyers saw the car and fell in love. Now that the price has plummeted there are a few that bought it because of the price. But I would say that 90% of us bit*h about a few things like the cup holder (don't put a paper cup in it) but we wouldn't give it up. By the way if you are buying the roadster there is enough room for 4 bags of groceries (guessing because I’ve never taken it shopping). Just remember real sports cars, like real women, take their tops down!

Buckeyedad,
LOL!

I don't think he wants a roadster. Seems he's looking for something less expensive or I'd think he'd be able to find a srt coupe for not much more than the roadsters are. Just might be a little harder to find.

Price really isn't the issue at this time, but I really don't want to pay a whole lot.
I don't like roadsters because they lack performance compared to any coupe counterparts and I am mostly for performance over looks.
I do like the look of the roadster(the rear looks prettier) but I will be able to put my top down for a week out of the whole year...that is when I go home to Minneapolis from Fargo.

Hey, if you are looking for performance, and you don't care much about looks, and you don't want to spend alot, well, then why don't you get a 6.0 GTO?

...also keep in mind, that new Crossfire money can buy a very nice lightly used Corvette. Buy one of those rockets, and you might not even remember what color your Mitsuwhatsit was... I kicked a lot of Vette tires, but lets just say the Crossfire's character won me over at the end of the day. And, I totally agree about the GTO. Awesome car, and non-descript styling makes it a great street sleeper. Why didn't I buy one? Would you believe me, if I told you that sometimes I wish I had?

NO but then again you kicked a lot of corvette tyres. I have noticed a trend in vette drivers, so has my wife, therefore no vettes will ever be in my stable. Nice car but not for me.

As I think about the casual posters that stop by this board with various versions of effectively..."sell me on the Crossfire", why do people feel compelled to respond?

I could care less what anyone thinks about the car. I like it and I am the only one that counts. I bought my Crossfire and I drive my Crossfire.

Anybody truly interested in buying a Crossfire needs to read available magazine articles and then test drive the car. That ought to be sufficient for a person to make up their mind as to what they think of the car.

I sat in the crossfire prototype at the carlisle fairground at the chrysler nats "I have friends " and I said, "Wow!!! this is me!!!"
I just wish they would have kept the wheels without the center covers and the rear glass with the rib...
The only other new car I did that in was when the viper gts came out, I don't own one but I still need to get a '97 gts before I die.
Some cars you just know.

I bet people do this because at the subconscious level of thinking, people's brain's really don't like certain cars, so they look to others to reject or affirm their own, subconscious beliefs.

One word... troll. I can't believe this guy has generated six pages in one day for us to sell him on a car.

Just my humble opinion, now that you guys brought this up... do you think he/she is a car salesperson or DC marketing rep. fishing for ways to market the car based on our comments to the post ? If that's the case, I THINK THE CAR IS GREAT, BUT THE MFG. SUPPORT AND DEALER SERVICE SUX. THE ADVERTISING AGENCY MISSED THE MARK BY TWO MILES, TRUST ME, I SHOT THEIR FIRST FEW COMMERCIALS...

YOU NEED SOMETHING LIKE THIS TO SELL THIS CAR... http://www.hollywooddigitalimaging.com/ATTV_Preview.mov

Remember the AD rep from DMB&B that was posting a few months ago about how to win a new Dodge Magnum, they always miss the boat... HOT IMPORT NIGHTS, TUNER CARS, NATIONAL CUSTOM CAR ASSOCIATION & AUTO TUNING TV... Hot chick fast cars... This is not a MB SLK320 with the pretentious dweeb behind the wheel...

LOL...Couldn't resist to comment. Had the vette, and lost the "wet" t-shirt when the wife started driving it. And then sold the vette. It works both ways for some reason...vettes, that is.

PS. Did I mention I just think this is one of the best all around driving for fun GT type cars out there, and I paid $25,000 out the door.

PSS. Still looking for a somewhat reasonable way to generate 50 HP. I think that would perfect for this car.

Unfortunately, it's considered in touring class (T3) which is the lowest of the touring car classes in the SCCA... Sorry for all of us... GT is way out of our class... It's like a little girly car as far as the Sports Car Club of America is concerned... We should have done our research first before buying into this BS pseudo sportscar...

Go take a look at the Pontiac Solstice GXP Club Racer... Now there's a true American made sports car with 315 hp and less than $30k... It will be in GT class...
