Default Problem installing new brake pads

Sorry to bring up an old subject but I just put the Rotex Gold brake pads on the front and rear but I ran into a little problem and was wondering if any body else has experienced this. When I got the new pads there was no hole drilled in them for the brake wear sensor. I just drilled the hole myself but I wonder if i got the correct pads.

Some have the hole and some don't. What you did was correct. You can do a search and find what was talked about before.

As long as you are drilling your own hole and not somebody else's!

Wayne: You done good buddy... That's the way the Porterfield pads come-in as well... DRILL-EM HARD... LOL Seriously, just drill the hole for the sensor tip into the pad like you did... 3/8" deep... 1/8th" from the backing plate... I can't remember the bit size...

I did have to glance at the service manual for the rear pads but basically an easy job.

To everyone, thank you!
