amp location

Question amp location
does anyone know where the oem amp is located. i have x-fire limited 2005 edition.
what size speakers are in the rear deck?

The amp is under the passenger side footwell plate.

Yep - remove floor mat then pull back carpet, then remove merc branded polystyrene (never seen branded polystyrene before) – makes you smile though. Remove the two screws and the tray containing the factory amp is out. BTW the factory amp rocks (once you have replaced the cr**py factory head unit).

how about the speakers in the back what size are they i looked at them yesterday and they look like 5 1/2?

Close, I believe they are 6 inch.
