I don't know how many times I can see in the rear view to the couple behind me (usually @ stoplights) and I see their hands motion up and down and I know exactly what they're talking about, the active spoiler. All the people that compliment me on my daily driver usually don't know the name of the car (even though it's plain as day on the rear) but most of them ask me something to the point of "Is that that car with the little wing that pops up?" as their hand motions while speaking. I'm sure that you guys encounter this as well. I even had on lady in Annapolis ask me "Who makes that car? I see Chrysler on it, but who makes the Crossfire?" I gave her the benefit of the doubt seeing as how she was elderly, even though I had a smart@$$ remark ready for the asked-then-answered question...
Oh well... What can you do?
Women, can't live with them.... Can't shoot 'em.....
Outside Montana.

Great read! This really is helping me make a decision for which Crossfire to go with. Very informative forum, another reason to be excited for Crossfire membership!
Thanks for bumping this up from 2 years ago. It was great reading it and I'm used to driving a stick all the time and I'm always using the autostick instead of leaving it in 'D' to make me feel like it's a stick without using a clutch. Besides, using the autostick allows me to hold the revs a little longer to enjoy the exhaust note.
With this new supercharger pulley I installed last week it really shifts snappier too. That extra boost and 40 lbs of torque feels perfect.
As for the ride being 40% stiffer I fixed that 1st with koni shocks it now rides better than my lowered '04 coupe ! As for gas mileage about 3-5 less overall. Only wish they made SRT6s in Alabaster. I'm glad they only made 2,000 srt6 coupes !

Yes, thanks- a great post.
I am/was thinking about buying a SRT...
I'm not sure if you can buy new Crossfires in Canada these days but I know from having searched that used SRTs are few and far between. Those available are about double the price ( both coupe and roadster). Since I bought the LTD because it was 6 speed, I'm convinced by your experience with the auto stick that I should stay with what I already have - which I already love
Thanks again.

No matter.... I love my Crossfire and want a roadster now too. But I still have 2 kids to put through college -- with one starting next year so it will have to wait.

Love the SRT6, the very aggressive spoiler , the wheels are great, they do not look like a factory
wheel, install low dust pads cleaning no problem. Bigger brakes great, Auto stick, love it, its a blast to
hit the go button and just hold on, love the sound of the sc and the performance/speed. The ride, i got
use to it .
One of 2016 srt6 coupes every produced very exclusive. Most people don"t know about the srt6 xfire.
I would not have purchased a xfire if the srt6 coupe was not available . I wanted a fast car that looked
fast and could back it up. And not break the bank !
The srt6 fit the bill for me ,a very fast, unique great handling car.
This car can scare the **** out of me at times, in a fun way
I would not want a xfire as a daily driver ! To hard for this old fat man to get in and out of!! But if i
every lose weight look out.
The na or srt6 are both fantastic cars, that have some great owners.

As for the gas mileage, when I'm just driving mine and not trying to be crazy I get 21mpg in town and 30\31mpg (70mph interstates) on the hwy all day long. It is a 6 speed stick.
