I just uploaded a second batch of pics to my gallery;
https://www.crossfireforum.org/galle...ry.php/cat/715
Stephanie has to find her camera's software to stitch the really long ones.
Can't wait to do it again next year.

We had a great time seeing all the cars and meeting everyone. It was a really nice day for us car-nuts! We drove home in the rain this afternoon. It was our first real drive in the rain with the Xfire and the ASP Conti's worked very well! I got home and gave the car a good wash in the driveway, in the drizzle... I think my neighbor thinks I have a real problem... Oh well, it could be worse!
Here's my pic's.

Thanks again,
Jim & Lisa.

Yes, and while he was up looking for AMX's, guess what came thru past the church.

A Great big thank you to all the people involved in setting up the Woodward get-together. RPM needs a big thank you for your work. Also to Ann & Steve for directing and leading us to the restaurants on Friday and Saturday nites. Elaine and I sure enjoyed the happenings and meeting new people. Also the welcome we got from the people at the Church was wonderful. The Church Lady "AKA" Betty was as excited as the members of our group, it would be nice to return there again. The fun and conversation after dinner Friday nite was very enjoyable and the Lobby party on Saturday nite was filled with many laughs. We must do this again and for those of you who thought it would not amount to much and stayed home you missed one hell of a fun time. Plan now to attend next year because it will be bigger and better. Hope every one had a safe ride home. Elaine & I are planning on seeing all of you next year." See these meets are fun for seniors too".

Thank you all.
Lorne

Andy,

As FP pointed out, Mike was out cruising and it was impossible for him to get back in time for the pic. We'll have to make a photo shop pic with him inserted.

I just want to thank RPM for organizing this event, as with Carlisle, we had a great time. Annie and Steve, our local hero's, thanks for helping all of us navigate the monstrous traffic in Detroit! You two were amazing and appreciate all your help.

There were some terrific mods made to cars and some that are just downright clean/perfect. I'll be posting my shots later tonight. Pat and I left Detroit somewhere after 5 am and i made it home around 2:30 pm. It was pouring rain until about 60 miles east of Pittsburgh...then it was just drizzling. Traction control kept kicking in on the puddles, but I've driven my xf in the rain many times and it behaves well. It was a long ride.

To my Driving partner Pat...thanks bud! It would have been a long trip home without another XF along.

All the XFi members (new) will get their materials this week.

Oooh...no quarter exchanges are necessary, I think the bet was a tie...just hold on to them and we'll find something to bet on next time.

This "quarter" thing sounds interesting...

I get the feeling there's a story there!

Hehe...Read RickZ's comment above.

NO quarters to be exchanged...and the nature of the bet is top secret.

If you were at the cruise you might be privileged to know what the quarter bet was all about.

I know but I am sworn to secrecy.

I don't believe it had anything to do with the pool.

Apparently there were 2 different bets involving a quarter.

Thumbs up Re: Woodward Dream Cruise - August 18th, 2007 - Motown

I am so glad everyone had a good time.
FYI, I just sent an email to the Woodward Dream Cruise Board and asked for the 2008 dates.
Once I get more info, I'll start a thread for next year.

One thing is certain, we've got to get a spot ON Woodward. Hopefully between those of us that are local or fairly local, we'll get a great spot (we will have to start working on it ASAP).

If we had 19-20 Crossfires attend this year, we should be able to double that next year, right?

Thanks again to all those that attended.
