That would be Great, also how long a Drive from Chi-Town to Detroit?

I could also see a Relative in Grays Lake, IL the two Days b/4 Maybe & Drive with some one in the Area (FP is Close?) & pay for All the Gas to & From Detroit? (Plus Share a Room at the Marriott, but not necessary.)

Gary, lots of possibilities, put me down as tentative for Now & let's see what
happens, I'd Fly in from ATL.
(I should be Wide open in August, I just Cancelled an August Cruise from Stockholm to Quebec.

If you fly in on Friday make it early in the day, we would help with picking up if it worked out. Better yet fly in Thursday afternoon/night you would enjoy the event a lot more and be here when the other members arrive. The City of Detroit is having an "show" downtown on Wedensday (night?) to draw people there. Can't remember what it's about except showing of cars.

 

Maybe even just cruise woodward before it's a giant parking lot........Personally, I think some of the best "cruising" happens about a week before the actual Dream Cruise!

Basically......on the weekends in late july it starts getting real busy on Woodward......all the pre-cruise cruising!

Thank you for the offer! That's a Good idea, I'd probably fly in late afternoon, early evening on Thursday to Detroit, if I don't fly and drive from Chicago.
I'm leaning towards Just Detroit.

I'll wait a few weeks to sort out my options, as others firm up theirs.

The caravan from Illinois will leave more than likely Friday morning, not sure yet at exactly what time as we need to coordinate with the others.

As to sharing the room, I'm cool with that, as long as you're not into hugging pillows. "those aren't pillows"

As most of you know Bill is the organizer for the Tail of the Dragon meet each spring and fall.
Welcome Bill as out guest this year.
He will be flying in and hitching Crossfire rides with some folks who volunteered their second seat.

Silverfox-great to hear your attending Woodward. I plan on going to the dragon run with Gary this spring. Look forward to meeting you. If you ride shotgun with FP I'll be hooking up with you on the way to Detroit.

33 right now. I am maintaining the list in post #164 in this thread.
I will probably just keep it there so it is only in one place. It's easy to maintain the changes this way.
I am also keeping track in the thread in the new category "Crossfire Meets"

Awesome! I'm pretty sure attendance will be WAY up this year from last!
