They have a huge lot, just to the west of their building, which Chrysler was using as a staging area for the 13 and WW show. If we could rent their circular drive in front of the school (proper) would be cool, except I don't know about number of cars that would fit. If we parked them double it would be enough room. The cars would not be on WW, but it would get the group into more and new things to do and see. I can go take pictures and post them if you want to see/if they are willing to rent it.

Hello all,
I spoke with the "Church Lady" Betty Howe tonight and got her email so I could send her all the pics taken at Woodward 3 weeks ago. She told me she has joined our forum and will post something soon. I told her that we will be seeking a place directly on Woodward for next year and she said she would be able to help. Hopefully you guys that are local to this area can work along with her to establish a new spot for next year. I have invited church lady to come join us if she is free next year.
The following email was just sent to me from her:
The pictures were just great - I ran through all of them twice and they are properly stored now. Equally terrific talking with you. I told my husband (and anyone else who would listen to me) that everyone in your club was special. It was a joy to work with you. I will take the liberty of talking with my city manager here in Pleasant Ridge (we are right on Woodward between 9 1/2 and 10 Mile so further north than the church) to see if all their frontage parking is obligated for next year. Will let you know and your club can take it from there if interested. We are also on the southbound lanes, just after you pass the Zoo. Thanks again, Gary and I will be in touch. Betty

OK, this week I am going to put some time into getting a WW street side spot at or near 13 mile.
Please PM me if you have any info gathered from either making 2007 or 2008 calls. My first stop will be the Village Jeep Dealer at 13 mile. Next I'm thinking the Firestone dealer who is just next to the large lot that the Chrysler displays were in. It's actually part of the lot. There is also another lot for a building that doesn't seem to be able to keep a tenant in it. I'll find the reality company's name and talk with them. It is about 5 blocks south of 13 on the east side.
Next to Village Jeep, we could rent the "Lover's Lane" lot and everyone dress up (or should I say down) in our very best lace and leather underwear. They'd be our Halloween '08 gallery photos! "Now that's scary".

Hey guys count me in too, I just got my Crossfire and I'd like to take it down to Woodward next year. I live not far from Woodward myself and I'd be wiling to help us find some parking for next year. Have you guys made any progress? I think we should really push this, it would be awesome to see a ton of Crossfires show up!
Let me know and maybe I can lend a hand.

I live up near Midland/Bay City/Saginaw, so I can't be of as much help as many of the locals. Rapp's Yellow CF has been scoping some places out, but I don't know how much luck she is having.
Your help in finding a place for 2008 would be much appreciated.

Peggy and I are already planning on coming no matter where we park. Besides now we will have to come to see who shows up Iamfink2 or Iamfinkz.
