I just spoke with the staff at the Fontana Lodge
and was told that we are virtually the only guests staying at the lodge that weekend.
We have 29 rooms and there are only a few other rooms reserved for another very small group.
The Mountain View Bistro (dining room) and the Bears Den Lounge (the bar)
will be open from 5pm to 9 pm both Friday and Saturday night to provide us dinner and drinks.

It is a more relaxed schedule than the past meets with a little less hour by hour structure.
It is subject to slight changes.
I think we will have a pretty well organized meet.
I will be handing out printouts to every driving member with our final agenda
including the necessary route plan maps Friday night at dinner.

Can ya tell I'm a little excited about this ??

Another member from the Spring meet has just been added to the list #37 and will be joining us again in the upcoming fall meet.

I was in the area (well, Knoxville, close enough) Sunday and made a run through the Dragon, Hellbender, 143, and 129 to 74 past the Ocoee and back to Chattanooga. There were several state LEOs on the Dragon itself and one local on the Hellbender. Fontana Village looks great! If its your first time, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Several Asheville area microbrews on tap and Fillet on the Bistro menu. The place is nicer in person than their website photos, with great views. When I have a little more time, I'll post some notes from my experience(s) in the area.

Just got done with a Big M&G here in Kentucky had great time ! This has Susan and I ready for Trip to Dragon ! Looking forward to Meeting Everybody ! I've been craving this trip forever. I'm so excited I don't know what to do, aside from having muted exchanges of sweet nothings with my Aero mistress. We can finally have that Honeymoon we've never had!
