I just got off the phone with Leon (the guy who is hosting our lunch)
I told him he will be among some experts in the area of mods.
He is looking forward to gathering a lot of info on how to Boost up his SRT6.
Should be a very good meet with a lot of Crossfire talk going on.

Snow or no snow don't be a no show !!

Guys- It's nice to hear that we will have a pretty good turn out for the lunch. I can't wait to meet some of you guys.

Valk - Don't get me wrong I want people who know food to enjoy my restaurant. The Lambo tools thought they knew what they were talking about but actually knew very little about what they were ordering that night or what goes into making it happen in large scale restaurant.

I think they were more interested in trying to impress the hookers they hired to escort them by talking about how al dente the pasta was the last time they were in Italy. I know we will be a much more interesting bunch.

If you guys show up with gold chains and velour jump suits, I'm in trouble!
Fa-git-a-bout-it!
lol.

Valkryder- Are you keeping track of the count? I may need to put another server on that day if we get a lot more. No worries the dining room seats 135. I just need to know so I can schedule accordingly.

I will keep the list of folks attending in post #1 on this thread
I'll update it daily but I don't expect there will be to many more than already listed.
Our gatherings never seem to be more than 10-12 members.

Leon,

I'll be there, I am not an expert food critic by any means. However, having worked as a chef for four years, my palate has become somewhat tuned in on flavors and such. I can't wait to try your menu, and am sure it is excellent.

Leon told me that the lunch menu has less to choose from compared to the dinner menu.
This is normal in most cases for the finer restaurants.
Dinner menu begins at 5:00 pm so maybe in the late spring we can return after a afternoon local cruise and enjoy the dinner menu.

OK Gary. Sign us up. Cathy and I are coming , in hers of course.

She is setting us up for the weekend at Starved Rock Lodge, which is her favorite getaway place with her boy toy.

Hope it's me and she lets me drive her new SRT.

Cool. Just be careful, Cathy is still training her new pit bull.

Tricked out new Mustang came up along side her at a light today. He did the little dance, she burped the throttle twice and the guy never even tried. At the green light he just sorta wimpered and slowly drove away.

She is going to be tough to live with.
