Woodward Dream Cruise / Crossfire Concept Car Showing - August 20, 21 - 2010
ouch, sorry to hear about that rudy, it looks like they scraped up your rim too, dotn forget about that on the insurance claim
And your side strake might be damaged also. If not you can just mail me the new one if you dont need it
Thanks everyone for your concerns. I'll make sure I take lots of pictures of the rebuild and let you all know how it goes.
Beaner, if I end up not needing the strake, I'll be sure I mail it up to you along with the other side as well.

I have a body shop with a 1000 ft of my home...and he is a great painter, it's just he forgets his friend's pillar pods and grilles sometimes...yes, they are still there...lol.....Seriously, he does great work...when insurance is paying and not doing me a favor...lol Let me know, and I can show him the photos....spend a week with the Holliday's...like being on a holiday...

yadda yadda yadda....... you just had the whole weekend to fix that roadster doc....... got it screaming yet?
BTW, thanks for missing Woodward...... something wrong with the other one too?
You know I'm messing with ya...... I had too much going on to be much use at Woodward anyhow.
Gary and I had a great time this past weekend thanks to everyone. In addition to the scheduled activities [meals and museum] the Sat. group nappy time, sod run (yes Ray I was trying to get the wing up) and some drag racing on I75 by certain people all added to the fun. I got the wing up 3 times Saturday morning on Woodward, a WDC record for me. Interestingly there has only been 2 maybe 3 WDC with rain. Even with rain I didn't feel like we missed anything, it's the people that make it so fun. Rudy I am so sorry to hear about your bimbo encounter. I'd offer to exchange some green paper for any wayward strakes but they've been spoken for.......thanks Beaner.

If it is Randy, you will be spending a month or two.....
@Jim Harbor - sorry again about ripping down your basketball hoop, guess next year I will be washing my car at the self service place LOL
I wanted to thank you and Karen for the hospitality...
Just got back from the 4 day 900+ mile Mackinaw run and am catching up on the forum. Glad everyone (or at least most) had a good time at the Cruise. Clearly, the most popular car at Dream Cruise weekend was the Crossfire concept vehicle (thanks Ray!).
Pat - Thanks again for the Yuengling, although I may need more soon. Apparently Karen's been drinking mine. Enjoy your week in Myrtle Beach brother.
Rob - Really appreciate the oil catch can, expert installation and the filters. Say hi to Liz.
John - No worries with the hoop. You're welcome to wash your car in my drive anytime. I promise to have soapy car wash girls next year!!!!!!!!!!
Nick - Fantastic shirts & hats, and the logo is great. Thanks. PM me your address and I'll send you and the Canadian contingency some of the last run of the Crossfire sales brochures. I really enjoyed meeting you guys.
Clint - Welcome! I'm sure you'll be a valuable asset to the forum.
Gary, FP & Ray - Thanks for the Moose.
Speaking of the Moose, the interview we did in July actually aired locally on Channel 7 (ABC) and mentioned the CICCI. I'll post the clip (approx a minute and a half) soon.
See you all at the Fall Dragon.

He and I talked about that already...his front guy is gone, alone with one of the painters...he's back to doing the work himself....they were costing him business...but, with that said, he still has 22 on the board every week, week after week...

I also arrived home last night after a 1300 mile round trip from Chi-town to Woodward and then to the U.P. in Michigan ....crossing the Mackinaw Bridge and heading all the way to lake Superior and back down through Wisconsin.
Had a great time cruising with msgump (Judy) James1549 (James&Tammy) and Harbor (Jim&Karen).

Seeing the concept car really topped off the event and we will be working with the museum now each year to try and have the concept car there on display the same weekend as Woodward for years to come.
I am currently up in Mackinaw City with Harbor (Jim&Karen) msgump (Judi) and James1549 (James&Tammy)
We are touring the upper peninsula of Michigan over the next few days.
Mackinaw Trip - Upper Michigan - August 22nd (after Woodward)
Had a great time today after leaving the museum and seeing the concept car one last time.
Tons of pics to get posted but probably not until I get home later this week.
Thanks again to everyone who attended.... as all of us together is what really makes these GTG the great time they are.

We are settled back at home now. What a great trip we had.
Thanks to Ray, Jim, & Ann for a close-up of the Concept. Really cool to see it up and close. Thanks to Gary for keeping everything organized on the forum.
Jim picked out 2 great eating places for us. The Cruise Parking was great and shady, even though the sun was hiding while we were there. Maybe next year.
After Woodward, we had a great excursion up North. Judi and Jim made great leaders along the way for things to see and do. Karen is our new on-the-move travel agent! Thanks for letting us tag along. Also thanks to Dan and Patsy for showing us around and near Traverse City.
I hope to see everyone in several weeks down in the mountains!
James

I know I already posted about Woodward in an earlier post but I just got home this morning at 10:45AM from my WDC/Myrtle Beach vacation. As I posted earlier I had a great time at Woodward but then left early Sunday morning headed for Myrtle beach which was awsome as usual. I clocked 2201 miles covering 8 states and 35 hours of driving. This was the most driving I have ever done in my crossfire since the Orlando Speedway GTG back in 2007. I can honestly say the car ran perfect and I really enjoyed driving at night with the top down while I was at the beach. If the WDC is at the same time as my vacation next year I will make the same trip again. Happy Motoring, Pat
