For anyone going to the Dragon that wants to go to a zipline on Friday, September 30, here's the information:
Leaving Fontana no later than 8:30 so be in the parking lot ready to go NLT 8:15
The day could go until 6:00pm with driving time included (we hope to be done by 3:00 with zipping).
Suggest you bring some snacks as we won't be having lunch until after zipping (you don't really want to eat prior to zipping).
Our tour time is 11:30.
There are currently 10 spaces reserved for our group.
If we have a group of 10, the cost will be $69+tax=$75.73 per person.
With less than 10, you may need to pay an additional $10+tax upon arrival.
If you are interested in joining us, please call 1-800-451-9972 to pay and reserve your spot and mention reservation #57169.
Any spaces not booked and paid for by September 14 will be released. After this date, you could still call and check on availability.

I placed our reservation with Fontana today after 5pm. They honored the group rate with no issue, we have lodge room from the 29th to the 2nd.
We will be going to the BMW factory in Greer, SC around lunchtime on the 29th and picking up the bikes about 50 miles from Fontana Village. I just hope we arrive before sunset.
How many are you expecting at the zipline tour? I think I should cram it in, my wife is dreadfully afraid of heights. During our honeymoon back in March I dragged her through 129; which was almost a catalyst for divorce.

I am rather afraid of the roads on this trip, I do not need bad conditions. I won't be a dummy and ride in the rain. My C32 will be there and/or wouldn't mind a roadster ride along. I know my limits and I do not intend to exceed them.
