Just a heads up to the TN guys. I will be spending the night with family in Murfreesboro on the way to the dragon. Maybe I can meet up with you guys?

 

Murfi and I will be leaving Knoxville sometime Friday. Let us know if that works for you. Come on Tennesseeans lets get the show on the road to meet up with this Texian. Remember the Alamo!

 

I guess after 14 years in Texas, I am now a Texan. I sure don't plan on going back to CA anytime soon. Just let me know what time I should leave Murfreesboro Friday morning to get to Knoxville. I think Steve will be comong from Murfree as well.

 

Booked my room today! No rooms in main lodge with king size beds. Looks like Sue and myself will be sleeping in separate beds. Right, don't see that happening ha ha.

 

Frank....careful now...don't hurt your back....see you in the fall or hopefully in Detroit...

 

When I booked our room back in June, I asked for a room with King Bed in the Main Lodge. She stated that the only rooms then were on the lower level, which really isn't an issue for us. And she also stated that there weren't many left. Plenty of King Bed rooms in adjacent buildings, which isn't all that bad. We stayed last Fall in a building just down the hill from the main lodge & it was a nice place. I actually like being able to park right in front of my room. Wife just prefers the main lodge after we stayed there back in 2009.

 

booked my room today. as of this posting there were 2 king rooms and 22 double queen rooms left. better get them while you can!!
