Nope, I use to have a place up that way......when we boated on Norris.....still have friends there....

 

WOW! That was quite a drive, especially if you were dragging a boat behind you. Now, there is a NEW Tazewell that is close to us to the north. It is near Norris Lake. Perhaps you were thinking of that locale?Check a map if you wish and see if that makes any kind of sense. Right now I'm in Austin, TX. visiting grandkids and p------ that I did not make time to stop by the TMS earlier in the month! I'll shut up for now, lest I'm accused of highjacking the link..

 

Right, it is New Tazewell, old Taze is back up the road a bit....I was near 33 bridge...and the state park there on your way into Knoxville...I still have friends that live in Knoxville, and friends that keep houseboats at 33 bridge marina...that old truck route through the mtns would be great in the XF's...not so much towing my boat with a 28' Winnebago...lol

Fall 2010 - Tail of the Dragon Meet

 

Put Crumpy (Cruxpyre Femela) and I on the list. Both Crossfires.

Really hated missing the Spring event. I cannot get thru the year without attending the fall swarrie.

I'll be booking Sept 29, 30 Oct 1 and 2. It is currently assumed Crumpy will be my bunkmate all four nites.

you are correct the old and new are right in line....lol....not much to old taz....miss that area....need to drive home that way this year....it is like a picture post card up through that area...
