Wow! Amazing pics.

Not only did you guys win the "Most Enthusiastic Newbies" award, but you are also clearly dominating the "Newbies with the Best & Most Pics" category with 250 high quality photos. The forum is proud (and lucky) to have you as members.

Well done Newbs!

One thing you will learn about me is that I take LOTS of pictures (one of my passions). I actually took over 450 pics but thought it would be too much to post them all, plus I thought you guys would probably think I was nuts! Okay, I am nuts so no need to respond to that...

Um, why did my post get deleted?

Are you guys that humorless and thin skinned? Really? I KNOW some of you are laughing your asses off. That was funny. Come on, admit it.

So sad.

Bill, I think it was very nice of you to spend your time looking thru the pics to find the tag of that trailer. I'm sure it took a lot of time. The same spirit that encouraged you to support a fellow car person is what our forum is all about. I'm not going to say that we never disagree as a group but we are really about supporting each other, not breaking each other down. Sarcasm and razzing often don't translate the intended meaning. I'm sure that you didn't mean to call Doc a mass murderer in your video, but casting him as Hitler and flinging slurs about sexual orientation aren't who we are as people.

That video could have been kind of funny if it had been over a different movie clip - say SuperTroopers (cop connection). Maybe leaving out sexist comments and comments about women's genitals would have been a good idea too. Also Hitler, Hussein, Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Milosevic, or any person who committed mass genocide/ethnic cleansing aren't good people to compare someone to if you are trying to get a thank you from them.

We have good senses of humor here - I for one am funny as hell, but some things are just icky.

Kim I appreciate the comments.

While I didn't actually make the video, I did think it was funny. But I'm a guy so I see your point at being offended. That Hitler video is kind of a joke, a lot of people have used it to make fun of someone else. I've seen it used many times.

Understood, it's a big harsh, but you need to understand we're not particularly impressed with Doc.

He lost his mind, accused us of hitting his car, called us everything from rednecks to lowlifes, basically stated he wants to fraudulently hide an accident from the next buyer (no carfax), etc. This is one of your leaders?

I REALLY hope he also wasn't one of the two pompous jerks who parked under the overhang blocking the hotel entrance during the rainstorm while women and children hoofed it through the pouring rain (while the CF boys sat and watched the people getting soaked as they gazed at their precious cars through the window).

The Impala community is strong, and they stick together. We are also used to challenging (and being challenged) by other car groups, so I guess it was like mixing oil and water in some cases. The people there seemed a bit, um, delicate I guess.

Just so you know, I am the original owner of my 95 SS and I also own a highly modified 2007 Trailblazer SS that I took to the track with all of 100 miles on it. I also own a 69 Camaro SS396 Convertible as well as a 94 Impala SS with a big block 502 stuffed in it. I'm not telling you this to impress you but to tell you most of the Impala guys are into performance and driving their cars hard as well as looking good. I can run 11's and I also won my class in the car show with my 95 SS. We got the impression that the CF people were generally 'waxers' which is what you call people who just buy a car for looks. It's ok to be a waxer, but it's a bit lower on the car guy food chain. Drive it like you stole it!

But I digress. I guess the point was Doc, who was only there one night, was making wild accusations and comments based on something we didn't do AND making comments on our behavior based off 3rd hand info.

Sorry for appearing to be such jerks, we're just a bunch of guys going on 15+ years with our cars so we like to have a little fun.

Come on, that's pretty funny!

BTW, Cracka is the same idiot as the person in the pic above straddling that gorgeous SS.

He means no harm, he's our resident stand up comedian. Also our fall-down drunk comedian.
