Woodward Dream Cruise & GTG - August 20, 2011 - Michigan
I have booked under the group. My name is not on the list, but I do have a confirmed room at the group rate. Could be because we now do not drive a cross fire. See you soon.

My trip to Woodward is in a bit of jeopardy at the moment as my brother and family plan to visit that weekend and trying to say "I'm just gonna go to the store and get some milk" while actually driving to Detroit from DC isn't gonna work.
I'm trying to convince him to change his plans, but if not, I'll be very disappointed not attending. I'm working at it.
Ichon wrote me last night about joining up for the drive from DC/Baltimore area on Thursday evening (see his note above). If anyone else is planning to go from this area please let us know. I'm booked for Friday and Saturday nights only so i'd have to sort out the Thursday night stay if we leave on Thursday.

Chaz - you and I should meet up in Frederick (70 west) I think thats easiest for us to do. I sent you my number, give me a call when you can and we'll talk.

What a terrific weekend of events !!!
The dinner choices for both nights also look great !!!
Jim, You have done a wonderful job putting all this together and organizing with the Prowler club. Looks to be the best Woodward GTG ever.
We filled our room block at the Marriott with reservations for all 20 rooms.
Looking forward to late evening tailgating with everyone back at the Marriott on Friday and Saturday night.

Jim, you have out done yourself this year, great planning.
Molly and I will try to be there for dinner, so mark us as yes and we will call en route and let you know if we are running behind...

2 Years ago I brough a large canopy and set it up when we were still in the other parking lot. I am sure many can attest to the fact that if we did not have that shade (and another 1-2 EZ up canopy's) we would have fried. This last year was not bad, especially with the drizzle, but if it is dry and hot we will need some place to get out of the sun. There is nice natural shade at this lot, just being proactive.
I am going to bring a 10x10 canopy with us, and I ask anyone else with access to one and room in their car to consider it. If nothing else, I can put it up over FPs car the night before, you know, so his car cover doesn't get any dust on it

For WDC Saturday it's looking like 40 Crossfires and 30+ Prowlers at the display area.
Been busy and not keeping up with this thread. I take it that no one is interested in the Durango Plant Tour on Friday AM?
If you are, please PM. James

Jim,
As everyone has already mentioned, great job on the agenda.
I have Friday off, so my husband Bruce and I will be leaving in the morning. Not sure if we'll make it for the musuem, but will certainly be there for dinner Fri & Sat. We are also interested in seeing the Outdoor Movie on Friday and will be participating in the cruise on Saturday.
