Let's just admit it, it's a big group AND there are many there who are long-time friends, this makes the group kinda "clicky". I often felt like a 3rd wheel at the first dragon I went to.

But then, with the "Hope" disaster, and then all the political discussions I got into on this forum - by the next Dragon, I had people coming up to me and saying, "So,YOU are Pizzaguy? Come, sit here with us...."

If you weren't around for the "hope" disaster (and it has nothing to do with who is in the White House) - you missed the drama of the decade here. Wish I'd missed it.

If you find yourself to be a third wheel, come look me up - I'm gonna arrive this spring wearing a cheerleader outfit and motorcycle helmet.

...while we watch Nick parade around in pasties. I can't wait!!!
AGain, sure wish I knew what that meant.

Ray, great idea, just a lot for one person to mess with, especially if they are buying parts that don't fit their car, could get messy...

I for one never leave home without my spare belt, camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor, mini-toolkit, spare bulbs and tire kit. also have a battery jumper in the trunk, all this in a roadster trunk with the top down ....
( I can put the spare TB in, but doubt if anyone would need that .... )

HINT: I keep the spare belt by the driver side fuse box with a tie wrap on it.

Brake fluid would be a good idea since they don't carry ours anywhere near Fontana. Jason was looking a few years back and this was an issue.

I carry a general bail out bag in my car. Jumper cables, sensor safe (ha ha) fix a flat x 2, zip ties, duct tape, gloves, signaling device, flashlight, safely triangle, tools, travel blanket, etc. All that fits under the top in the roadster in a nice case. I will have to remember to switch it to the SRT for the Dragon.

Geez,,,,,?

That sounds like what mydad used to pack everytime we took the 135 mile trip to Grandma's house back in 1950. The old '41 Pontiac never, ever made it without something breaking down.

We have come so far.

I'm making this trip to have fun so all I am packing for such mechanical emergencies is my VISA.

We always have big tables for dinner so everyone can eat together - I call it XF family style!

I hope you have a great time at this Dragon. We have a smaller group in the Spring but we have a great time. In a couple weeks we will all be sitting around trading tales and sharing fried pickles while we watch Nick parade around in pasties. I can't wait!!!
If someone brings pasties I'll go through the dragon, in peak time so I get photo's, topless, shirtless and wearing pasties.

now if someone can bring tassels I'm definitely in

You don't have to go down the Dragon to get that pic!! I have my phone ready to go. I will make you your own music video. Not sure if I am going to use Styx's Come Fly With Me or LMFAO's Sexy and I Know It ...... Different feel on each of those - I think the LMFAO song will also require a thong. I'm just saying.......

If Nick is going to be in pasties and a thong, I am going to offer up my reservation at Fontana to anyone wanting to still attend

I'm turning 65 this Friday. That makes me old, foolish, no longer responsible, and willing to do anything.

Ya'll best be prepared.
