I am very surprised that this particular GTG hasn't gotten great response.
I have been through the Florida keys several times over the years and I know it would be a great Crossfire event.
For me it's simply to far for me to go with the vacation time I have allocated for Crossfire events.
I already use 3 days for the Fall Dragon and a day for Woodward and probably a day for the Spring Dragon.

My other vacation / personal time is spent with family traveling and showing our exchange student the USA.
If only I were retired I'd be away from home much more often going around the country meeting all the fine Crossfire folks we have here

 

Tammi and I are planning to be there. I have been under the weather since Christmas. We will be getting things together here real soon.

I want to go but I still have to ride the fence for a little while. My wife is going to start a new job next week and we would have to make sure she can get off. Also there is that daughter of mine adding a new granddaughter to my collecton at the end of May.

 

I'm in that same colored boat.. two months behind yours.. LOL.

 

Cindy and I have decided to let this GTG "grow" until Feburary 15th and see how many members will sign up by then . We will commit go forward and host the event even if as few as 10 members are signed up to attend (figuring we may have to start off slowly and hope the event will grow in future years as positive feedback spreads from the attendees of the 1st GTG). If we are not able to get at least 10 confirmed attendees signed up by February 15th, we will sadly be forced to cancel the GTG for lack of interest. Hoping everyone understands our position here . . .

My wife wants to do this so . . . Cindy and I are going forward and we will host however many Crossfire members end up coming down to participate. Sign up and let's have some fun together. See you in May . . .

This looks like a GREAT vacation. But I have my Vegas trip in March, my Dragon weekend in April and I'm headed back to Jonesville, Michigan for Riverfest on............ May 17, 18, 19.

Myself and the wife are going on a Cruise on 14th April from Galveston and we visit the Keys on our way to the Bahamas.
I wonder if I could persuade "Carnival Cruises" to hoist my SRT6 on board and drop it off at the Keys on the way. Then I could fly down in May, do the Partying, then drive back. DON'T THINK SO. LOL. SORRY, but as much as we would like to, too far away for us. (Houston Based)

We have another couple that just signed up but I'm waiting for more information from them so I can post their attendance on the websites.

 

I am going to try to make it down but Due to mother-in-law medical issues, it may be the 18th only or maybe the 19th only, and it may have to be a day trip, but I will give it my best. Sounds like a lot of fun so let me know what's going on on the 18th and what's going on on the 19th and I will see how I can work it out, as some of you know my mother-in-law is 99 so either my wife has to be home or I have to be home or we take her with us, and that's not easy, thanks for doing this in a sound like a lot of fun Jim

 

I will talk to the wife and see if we can make it down Friday and maybe Saturday. I'll also see if Ashley and her boyriend want to come on down.
