I hope you all have a good time, wish we could be there. My daughter is not being very cooperative with having the baby

On the road in about an hour. Key Largo today Key West tomorrow.

 

I got up this morning with a Scratchy throat, and I fill like hell. My wife working in the school system I guess from something home. As much as I hate to say it, I don't think I'm the make it Down to the keys., I will wait until Saturday morning as if I feel any better. Everyone have a good time and keep us informed ,jim

 

I was holding out hope that we would be able to attend. I am pretty much over the sugery and the right foot is safe now(restored blood flow) but the rt big toe is determined to ruin my summer. It is not getting any worse but the healing is very slow. Doc says maybe 6 months baring any new infections. I have been in this darn boot for 10 weeks now. On the other hand I still have a right foot to slip in to that darn boot.

So I hope you all have a wonderful week end and maybe next year for us.

 

Got to Key Largo at 2pm today. At the pool by 3pm. The water is great. Tomorrow to Key West.

This was a great GTG. All had a good time. They wouldn't let me keep the fish. Thanks Bob (RED DOG)

 

Any plans for a 2nd event?

 

Cindy and I would be happy to host another Florida Keys GTG of there is enough interest and participation. The reality seems to be that traveling to the Florida Keys is quite a distance off the beaten path and going that distance to attend a three day event is kind of a deal breaker. We had a 2nd annual Florida Keys GTG planned but I asked VALK to remove the post. Hosting this GTG for a half dozen participants is just not cost / time effective for us.

Others can certainly feel free to chime in here if interested in attending and we'd be proud to consider doing it again. We love showing off our little paradise down here in the fabulous Florida Keys . . . HAPPY NEW YEAR!
