My wife and I are thinking of going next weekend to the dragon. What is the name of the lodge everyone is staying at

 

Fontana Village Resort.... There is a link I believe at the beginning of the thread I think....if not, someone will post it up...It's at Fantana Dam, NC

 

If you can pull it off I highlyr reccomend it. I cannot remember when I had a better time with friends and, at the same time, in my Crossfire. The beausty of the Fontanna region only pales compared to the interesting people you will meet who drive these very special cars.

 

Its a done deal. We will be heading out this coming friday early. Staying until sunday. I think we got the last room in the lodge. Oledoc2u where are you located? We are in Mich. In Saint Joseph, just north of South bend In. Cant wait..... Its gonna be a blast

I am just north of Indy just off US 31 5 miles... I have the weekend off, but, I have dog that is having surgery that Friday, so I am staying home this spring. I will go to the fall meet though. I get thru St. Joe a lot... I work for a seed company....full time...cop thing is part-time now...

Joanna - Sorry to hear that Allen & you have opted out of attending future weekend GTG's at Fontana. Always enjoy seeing you guys. But Roberta & I are close, too. We'll have to plan a GTG of our own with you guys during an upcoming weekend.

We're interested in driving a roadway up by Little Switzerland in NC late spring. We'll contact you guys to see if you'd like to join us.

well it looks like more gremlins have surfaced today and its unlikely ill make the dragon. ibedoughboy thanx for the room but if the other guy needs it let him have it i doubt ill have the car ready in time

Damn Steve nothing serious I hope. Just fired the coupe up today. First really nice day up here. Time to get back to work on it. I am not going to make it either but I will be there in the fall. Everyone have a great time. I wish I could make it. Weather and time just aren't there to get things finished in time. And now the new pup needs a minor surgery this coming Friday. I going to hold her paw for the weekend. lol.

 

doc my high rpm misfire has blown into multiple codes and now the car will barely run. looks like im going to load the porsche onto the trailer for a trip to atl and a visit to buckhead imports. hoping they can diagnose the issue with the new software they have

Though I cannot find my name listed anywhere for this Spring's Dragon I KNOW that I was listed eleventh in the list after the end of the Fall dragon. Nevertheless, I had booked my room at that time and you may expect me and my lovely wife to be at Fontana Lodge by Friday afternoon.

I have stopped cruising(got over 365 days at sea), looks like you are starting. I was wondering where you were, looks like you all are going to have Great weather for the Dragon starting Friday thru Mon. (a good amount of rain is forecast for Thurs AM/PM). Wishing everyone a Super weekend!
