Ray, Molly and I would like to join you guys on your trip Saturday.
EDIT: Anyone wanting to go on the boat cruise Saturday evening, please send me a PM so I can keep a list. The boat only holds 20 people and I think we are going to have plenty of interest at $15 a person for about an hour long sunset boat cruise. He said coolers are not only welcome, they are suggested
The dock is about 1.75 miles from the lodge.
Worst case, if there is lots of interest, we can do a Sunday night cruise as well, but I think a Saturday cruise with 20 of us would be a blast!
I have made the reservation and I got the whole boat, so no outsiders will have to witness our shenanigans LOL

If we have more than 20 committing to Saturday do they have additional boats to take more people once our boat is full ??

The Tail of the Dragon trip sounds great! Where do we find out info about the lodge in NC to make
reservations. Sounds like everyone has a favorite side trip. We are trying to make plans.

Sorry, but we won't be able to attend. We have our dog that is an avid traveler and the Lodge is not too pet friendly. The non refundable deposit is out of our range.
Maybe we will make the Spring gathering.

There is only one boat, and he said only one sunset cruise, but who knows, if there is enough interest (ie $$$) they may take a second group out, who knows.

CMZ, That is a long way to travel alone. You might want to co-ordinate your trip with some of the Colorado group. Same route through St Louis.

Hi Valk, Cindy and I will be there (Bob & Cindy Davis) . . . I just made our reservations to arrive Thursday night and depart Monday morning. We booked a room in the main lodge with two queen beds but would actually prefer a room with a single king bed. We will gladly trade reservations with someone with a booking in the main lodge who needs or prefers two queen beds. If someone wants to swap reservations e-mail me at RedDogNumber1@aol.com and I'll take care of making the swap with the Fontana reservations department.
