It's a good first-timer showing, this means a good Dragon!

While it's fun to have everyone experienced and knowing the routes, etc. - it's more fun to have people attend the first time and see what they have been missing.
We have several veterans missing from the list.

I think all the GTGs we have these days works against the Dragon attendance, but it's still good that people are getting together in Texas and the Midwest and Carlisle, etc. - and having new people adds to the fun.

 

Well the count down begins , less thin two weeks to go ,I must say, Susan and I are in need of Crossfire friends fix , LOL, look forward to seeing old and meeting new friends , and having few cold ones , for some that will not make it, KIM, Doc, Jane, and know I missing few more , wish you could be there , For some of you new Crossfire guys your coming because of the car , well after your first meet you will come for the Crossfire Nuts that drive them LOL , some of the best people that you will ever meet ,So some of us old guys make sure we welcome the new and new jump in and join the fun weekend, Hay the group coming out of the North down 75 Let me know what time you will be coming through Lexington Ky area would love to jump in line with you going down ,would love to get into Fontana about lunch time , Look forward to the best Crossfire meet in the East and great weekend , Ray and Susan

The group that stays and/or meets in Florence will come through Lexington about 1 hour after they leave Florence.
I suggest you contact James1549 directly and get his cell number and give him yours.
Then you can have two way contact on that Friday morning to firm up the meeting plan if possible.
I'm flying down this time so I'll be arriving at the lodge around 2pm on Friday afternoon....

Sorry Franc, still working out the details. I was out all last week for work and catching up with the personal life. I hope to finalize details this week and I will let you know. We will certainly be going through St. Louis for sure. It is just a matter if we stop in Columbia or St. Louis area on Wednesday night.

Carfax shows an interesting pedigree for this vehicle. Looks like it was a Chrysler employee lease vehicle (bet it was someone at the Belvidere assembly plant), then auctioned off to a NY dealer and now for sale in VA.
Probably won't get $23K, but the low mileage may fetch $18-19K. Flush the fluids, change the tires and you have a new Xfire.
