You guys coming in from Colorado big sky country, if you are not too saddle sore on Friday am I have a free lunch offer down near franklin NC. All you have to do is keep up with me thru HWY 28. if I don't get lost in Franklin we will run about 13 miles west on64 and eat at a mountain cabin in one of the NC back hollers.
Lunch is beer, BBQ brats and burgers with potatoe salad and coleslaw.
From there we will try to find Tellico road which takes us back to 28 and home to the lodge by early afternoon in time to meet the incoming horde. I say try because maps are awful and I have not run this
route before.
Worst case we stay on Wayah road to 74 and back to 28.
I need to know how many so my friend can butcher a cow and a pig or two.
We can discuss on the way Thursday.

Sounds good Franc. If you offer beer, my wife may have to drive. She is a true novice with the XF with only driving one 4 times in 5 years. It could be interesting for sure.

Johnny, you and Molly be safe. I should be flying over the top of the mountain Sat morning to my connecting flight in Atlanta for the Dominican Republic. I will think of all of you. You all have fun and I will look for photos and videos of all the fun while recouping this old shoulder on the beach...

There are coffee mugs. I used to make them and have some Crossfire mugs left. If you are interested in purchasing a mug with your car color and coupe or roadster (also if I don't have your car but I do have the other ->would you want it) cost ($5 each) send me a PM of what you want. Ill see if I have it and will bring it to the Dragon for you. I no longer make these -> I can not take new requests/orders. Ann

Well it's been an interesting day. Just put in a 4 week resignation notice. Sad to leave this company, but looking forward to the next one. BTW 2 more days!!!

Supposedly, the Blue Ridge Parkway will be open, but no Rangers will be on patrol! 
And I read on Killboy's site that some rest stops or such may be closed, but that the road will be open.

Sounds like patrols on the Blue Ridge parkway might be suspended, but they CLAIM the Parkway is open on the Dragon Website(s).
Other than that, I wonder if they will close 441 to Gatlinburg or if they will just close the tourist stops like the overlook and such.
Not sure, but US129 (Dragon) and NC28 as well as the Skyway are all state or local roads, so we are fine.

State budgets aren't involved. No relief from Mounties catching you over the limit. Drive safe and prudent. Enjoy the week end.
