7th Annual Fall 2013 - Tail of the Dragon GTG - October 4, 5, 6
You really should follow Ivan and Franc and who ever else comes from out there this fall... the journey to the Dragon will be almost as much fun as the event itself!
The baby should be four months old by then!
GARY - How'd I get on the list? I didn't commit yet.
But, given the events at work Friday (can't talk about it in public) I just called the Lodge and booked a room.
There is a SLIGHT chance I will be flying in without a car, but I'll be there either way.

Med up date: It was determined last Thursday that the little toe was not going to make it. In on Friday for the nip/ tuck and the toe is gone. Out of the hospital Saturday morning by 9:00. The Doc tells me that with the restored blood flow I have a good chance for the amputation site to heal. He gives the big toe a 50/50 chance, but he doesn't know I have all you guys praying for me. Thank you all for the continued thoughts and prayers.
Jim, it's great to hear, that you're doing good.we all know, it will turn out just the way you want it, how could it be any different As we all keep praying for you. God bless you, and if I make it up there I'll see you there.
As usual I will not know if I'm going to make it until about a week before., As you know my 99-year-old mother-in-law, did I say 99, and August she will be 100, being that my wife and I are their caregivers, whether or not my wife can get off work that Thursday and Friday will determine whether I make it up to the Dragon or not.

Mark if you do fly in you know you will not have any problems finding a seat in a crossfire. I can get you some drivers seat time in my coupe

And just so you know, your prognosis is good: My prayers for others seem to do more good than my prayers for myself...

Thanks Gary!
I'll just keep an eye on the forum about the route this year.
I have been talking about coming to the 2013 Fall Dragon (My first Dragon) for over a year now so put me on the list. I will be traveling from Louisiana. I will let you know when the room is booked - should be sometime this week. Later
Welcome,
I have added you to the list in post 2
Alright, I just booked the room and will be arriving Thursday evening and leaving Monday morning. They also waived the non-refundable pet deposit when I booked the room.
Will we know who will arrive Thursday evening and if we will have any plans for that evening and/or for the day Friday?
On the newbie thread I read something about nametags, do we bring our own or will this be provided? Also, someone mentioned that they do night runs and that they take passengers, I want to be a passenger!
By the way, I was joking about them waiving the pet deposit.
Go Wings!
