8th Annual Fall 2014 - Tail of the Dragon GTG-October 3, 4, 5
A group of us will be going on Sunday for sure
It is a new activity on the agenda so others might form groups and go there on Saturday too
This will just need to be determined based on interest once everyone has arrived and had the chance to talk among each other

...Been there done that....that I could do all the time..good thing I don't live there. I would be at Doc Holliday's feeling right at home.
I've been signed up for the last two boat cruises and I gave up both of them to be right where you are... It wouldn't surprise me if I end up drinking with you and missing the boat again.
Alcohol is allowed on the sunset cruise
Bring anything you want and drink as much as you like
Just remember we have a 10 minute drive back to the lodge after sunset
Only 5 spots left
Thought I would share the following routes for those that would be interested in going to a local winery (Victoria Valley Vineyards) in SC near NC border. Anywhere from a 2-2.5 hour drive depending on which route you'd take. Winery is a favorite of ours - has a nice deli to grab something to eat.
Drive down Moonshiner 28 to Highlands and then turning east on 64 is a challenging drive.

You offering to lead a group?
A couple things have conspired to scuttle our participation in this falls Dragon. I hope everyone has a great time, and by all means keep it safe my friends.
I'm sorry you wont be able to join us
If you have a reservation and don't want to loose your deposit there may be someone here willing to take your reservation and put it in there name.
Let us know here and someone else might post or send you a PM
This happens at least once or twice every year unfortunately

It will depart at the same time as the other boat already full.
The cost is $20 per person Cash or Cerdit/Debit

We will leave promptly at 5:15 to go to the Marina only a few minutes away and purchase our tickets and then board the boat for a 6pm sunset cruise
The cruise lasts about 90 minutes and then we return to the lodge for a nice dinner together if you wish.
I have added the names of those who have requested the sunset cruise since the first boat was filled
