I hope I'm not jinxing anything, by being a Donny Downer, but the long range weather forecasts for Eureka Springs while we're to be there, doesn't look great. Just sayin .... Still going to be great ....
She was unsure what all our group was doing in town next week and how an event like this has been planned
I explained to her about this forum and our group and our national meets being held each year around the country.
I went on to explain that one of our members posted that he bought tickets for the lunch train and provided their website link and phone number and from there it just became of interest to many more here
She sounded very excited and said the phone started ringing off the hook with Crossfire people buying tickets for the Wednesday Train
The Lunch Train staff might come see us at the hotel one evening or even stop by thecPig's trail Harley BBQ Wednesday night to have a look at the cars and talk with the people
The train IS full and it IS all from our group
This is not the first time a single group has filled their train but it is the first Car club/group that has filled their train
Really curious to see your car. According to info I have, Graphite Gray wasn't available in 2007. Graphite Gray only was used on the Crossfire for 2004 & 2005 model years. From 2006 thru 2008, Chrysler switched to Machine Gray. The two grays are distinct & different.
Later,
Later,
I've had that thought too and considered purchasing one but didn't

Might be something to do after the lunch train on Wednesday
We have a few hours to kill after lunch and before the Harley BBQ right ?

No reservations required.. they would like for us to provide an accurate head count of those attending though. At this point I'm giving the count as all attending CAA6.
I put in a phone call to the track.. If we can get enough on board we can do a 1 or 2 hour "facility" rental.. Karts and Golf! She will be calling me back shortly with rates.
Okay.. if we can get 60 people on board.. we can own the place from 2pm to 4pm @ $11 each.
This also includes Putt Putt golf. So if your lady doesn't care to drive karts .. she can take your picture between holes .. or if she's mad over the dinner train.. she has a shot to get even teeing off on hole 6 I think..
It would be a great filler between train ride and BBQ. Let me know so I can run a list here and get enough people to make our reservation. They have 8 carts we can run..
Sherri and I will put this on our card for "ease of transaction" at the track. I've also been told no fee for cancellation if we get rained out. A solid commitment is needed if you want on the list.
Two of them are 2 seaters.. I'm thinking Mark and Andy in one of those.. LOL.
As a side note: They will offer $1 off the regular rate on Monday and Thursday for any of those that want to run over and play .. open till 7pm just let them know you are part of the Crossfire group. They are closed Tue and Wed. but will gladly accommodate us Wednesday.
