As of right now the weather forecast for next Saturday in the Nati is calling for partly cloudy with a 10% chance of rain. If that forecast holds up I am thinking of of taking the roadster to the Coffee and Cars at Fuel on Riverside Drive. Anyone local who feels like joining me chime in here or drop me a PM. Keep in mind it depends on the weather and you need to get there around 7:45-8:00 to get a spot.
Tomorrow is May 1st and it looks like the weather is going to warm up. Sounds to me like it's time for an Ohio Valley spring cruise. I think we had 9 cars for the fall cruise back in October and I believe we picked up a couple new owners in the area so maybe we can top that number. I am up for anything from several hours of back road driving to something bigger. We could make a day of it and cruise to Indy and meet up with owners from that area at the Indy Speedway Museum. We could put on a Crossfire car show in the parking lot while we look around the museum.
If you're in post up here with ideas and what dates would work for you. Hopefully we can put something together before the end of May.

I am from Louisville and I can definitely ask some of the people here. I know here there's only two 6's. Him and I have talked about meeting. There's some N/A here that I know will meet up too.
I guess the first thing is to determine if Saturday or Sunday works better for most people. For me it makes little or no difference, what about everybody else?
Just going to throw this out there for discussion and feedback. Thinking that a group gets together in the Cincy and heads towards Madison Indiana either through Kentucky or Indiana. If austinbarrylee can maybe get a group together in the Louisville area they, head to Madison from there and we meet in Madison. If there are any members in southern Indiana or the Indianapolis area they can head down to meet up. Meet up for lunch and do a little driving before heading back to where we started.
This is something I spoke about at our Fall Trip. We can meet up in Cincinnati or along the way in the morning. Travel West following the river, (Rt 50,56,156) through Madison, over to Hanover College. There is a really cool little curvy road to get to the college. Make a loop and head back to Madison for a late lunch. Last winter I had a bus load of people going through Madison so I didn't get to scope out a place to eat.
After lunch, head back East, cross the river at the Dam and spend a few minutes at the observation deck. Then travel up to the Speedway for those that may have never seen it. From there its anyone's idea.

I prefer Sunday, but either day will work for me.

PS. I've been to several races, but never had a chance to visit the gift shop. So here is my chance.

That sounds excellent to me, curious what everyone else thinks. I seem to remember that the Speedway used to allow the general public to lap the track in their cars at some point, not sure if they still allow that or not. I know Indy used to because I did it on two different occasions with the Shelby Dodge Club and my turbo Dodges.

Sounds like it could be a good time, count me in any June weekend other than the 27th-28th. My son also has an NA Coupe and may join too depending on work schedule. We are both planning to attend the Fall Dragon this year as well.
