I feel the same way about the car getting wet and you are right about it just not being as enjoyable. 40% in the evening sounds a lot better than what the weather channel was saying so we will have to keep our fingers crossed.

 

I'm good for May 24.

 

I would really hate to drive 35-40 miles just to make a decision.

Chance of rain looks to have been revised down for Sunday! I will be at the Castle around 9am.

The weatherman's forecast for a week from now is usually slim to NONE accurate. I don't know why they even do it.

I'll see you guys there tomorrow morning! Do we have a designated route on the way out to Madison?

 

My travel plan is as follows:

Meet at White Castle 9:00
Depart about 9:30

Rt 50, then 56, then 156, and then back on 56 following the river.

Drive through historic Madison and continue on the Hanover College.

Loop around back to Madison for lunch and/or park along the river outlook.

Leaving Madison, drive across the new bridge to Minton,KY and continue East on
Rt 36/42 until we reach the dam overlook. Take some time to see if any barges are passing through at the lookout tower.

From there you have two options to return home. You can cross the dam and go back through OH (which I am doing). Or you can head south and hit I-71.

See everyone in the morning. Don't forget your FRS radios if you have them.
