I am fairly certain that I can go to this. I would like to meet up with everyone but I just joined the forum and I don't know anybody. I will probably be coming by myself and the BBQ sounds good as well. I may even do the Sunday cruise through Ohio but will continue home to Pittsburgh Sunday evening. I may skip the hotel entirely and drive straight there. it is under 5 hours drive.

I just booked the room, and will be sending in my application tomorrow. I am looking forward to meeting everyone. I will be staying through Sunday, and may join the Sunday caravan east through Ohio for some of the trip.

I have been kicking around going to this for years, and was considering driving my 1967 El Camino some year, then I got the Crossfire last week, and found this thread, and didn't realize it was the same thing.

I will probably be in town early. I live about 5 hours from the hotel with a pit stop, and will probably leave my house early Friday morning. I may be in the Detroit area before or around noon. I might go looking for something else in the area to do as well (any suggestions?)

Well due to circumstances beyond my control I found out today they are scheduling me for surgery on the 15th of Aug. I already have the passes for the park and all that so if someone was to late to get them let me know and I will give you mine for what I paid for them which was $40.00. Needless to say the trip is cancelled for me. Wrist bands and the window sticker has no name on it so as long as you have it you could use it.
Thanks, Ken

Wish I could take advantage of that, but I now must ask you, Gary, to take me off the list.
Given that its so far, and that I just bought the truck, and that I went to Eureka Springs, and that I want to go to the DRagon this fall - I have GOT to stop spending for a bit here.

Does anybody here have any contacts or clout with FCA directly? I am trying to see if I/we could get admittance to the Walter P. Chrysler Museum. It is just north of Detroit, and would make an amazing visit that weekend.
Re: Woodward Dream Cruise & GTG - August 15, 2015 - Michigan
Back in 2010 on the WDC weekend we all got to go tour the museum and they had even brought the Crossfire Concept car to the museum for us to see and sit inside of that weekend.
See the links below or in my signature for the photos ans the walk around video of the Concept Crossfire

As always, my driveway, hose and detailing supplies are available Friday morning for any early arrivers wishing to wash the bugs off their cars. I'm close to the hotel, so PM me for the address if you're interested.
Also, for those staying at the hotel, be advised that the University bridge over I-75 is under construction. You may be better off to get off at the Chrysler HQ exit and get to the hotel via Featherstone to Doris and/or Opdyke.

Thanks for the update Jim.
We generally use 59W from I-75 then off on Opdyke (SilverDome). The I-75 and University area was always in bad shape, glad they are doing repairs.

Gary, Gene "Sandman50" and I will be at Woodward. The Sunday morning cruise to Cleveland sounds great as well. (After all, it's right on my way home.)
As usual, we will be found taking part in the actual "Woodward Ave. Dream Cruise" by CRUISING! In other words, getting up close and personal with 1000's of Woodward Ave. spectators by showing off our cars and making an impression. (I bet they would enjoy seeing everybody else's Crossfires too.)
By sitting around the park ALL day long, everybody is missing out on so much the Dream Cruise has to offer. But that's just my opinion.
