This just has been announced on the main "Tail of the Dragon" thread
My sympathy to these wonderful hosts during what sounds to be a very difficult time......
The Dragon planning committee has Drivers/Leaders who would have attended this event on Friday
We will now be making other arrangements to provide enjoyable runs for all who were going to attend this event
Info will be available in the lobby no later than Friday morning as to the optional routes being planned.

i just received this message from Jim and Trish a few moments ago.
Franc, it is with utmost disappointment that i must cancel the 4th annual Crossfire lunch.
We are working through a serious family health issue (not Trish or me) and it has become an all consuming endeavor.
I am so truly sorry for the late notice but we just got the diagnosis today.
I hope we can all get together next year.

I will try to put something together for anyone who plans to be on this run Friday.

Franc will not be leading any groups on Friday but we will have leaders for runs in place.
If you had planned to be at the lodge beginning Friday morning I encourage you not to change your plans and still be present,
There will be runs and leaders in place by Friday morning at 9am
Franc will be joining Eric and Ruth for a Zipline afternoon in Bryson City
Friday at 11 if anyone is interested and if they still have openings.
