Finally confirmed, my 14 year old grandson, Logan from Raleigh NC, will be attending as my +1. Please update on the next round.

 

Unfortunately, health reasons have made it impossible for me to attend.

 

 

Anything firm on Friday runs? I anticipate getting there before noon and would like to do a run in the PM

Routes still being considered and worked out with the planning committee
Most all daily runs will depart by 9am most likely
By the time we are arriving we should have more info available.

There WILL BE a meeting for ALL ATTENDING each evening at 9:00pm
The meeting will be held in the lower lobby in the main lodge each night - Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights
There will be a whiteboard on the main level in the lobby with general announcements daily / nightly
We ask EVERYONE to take a look at the whiteboard frequently each time you are in the lobby to see general info about the activity all weekend

 

THere are a few runs leaving between 9 and 11, one Skyway/Dragon run, and at least two heading to Franklin/Bryson City/Road to Nowwhere/Wheels thru time.



You will probably miss those, later in the day tHere are two we think we will do:

5pm or so - My sunset cruise - a 30-45 minute run close to the lodge.
Later - an after dark run up and down the Dragon - not a "foot to the floor" run by any means but should be fun.
You can ride along with someone on either run if you are not up to driving at the time.

Also:
CHECK THE WHITE BOARD in the lobby every time you walk thru the lobby. Not only do we make event announcements, but sometimes attendees put sticky notes on the white board when trying to contact another attendee.

TRY not to walk by the board without looking at it if you have not walked by it in the past hour or so!

 

 

 

Greetings TOD event attendees. Just for fun, if you want, here is an app you all could download on your phone to use it as radio type communication in route to /fontana, onsite and on your way home to talk about the weekend's fun with other TOD event attendees. The App works anywhere you have cell signal or WiFi.

You will have to create an account. It's free. Pick a user name as you wish and a password. They will send you a confirmation email. Confirm the account in email.

Then when you have the app running search for the group called TOD Crossfire Event join the group. You will get a second email confirmation to join this group. Use Fontanadam as the PW.

I am seeing a lot of posting activity on Facebook of many on the way to the Dragon
Some meeting up with others to create convoys together and some might be traveling alone.

We will be leaving tomorrow at 5am. Maybe I'll see you on the way down. I'll be the Crossfire pulling the black trailer. Dinner at the Wildwood sounds good. Safe travels.
