Two members of the U.K. Crossfires Club will be attending the Annual Fall 2019 Tail of the Dragon GTG
BOB RICHARDSON & GEOFF W C HOOKER.
We will be arriving on Wednesday 2nd and departing on Tuesday 8th
Reservation at the Fontana Resort already booked, flights and car hire will be booked within the next two weeks.

Ok, I have updated the opening post and I THINK I have it done for good - but you know I will keep editing.
We had some good runs this spring - the new radios that I've been pushing people to get really helped, we had one lady fall way behind on the Skyway (2 to 4 miles) and were able to talk to her easily.
Later that day, we scattered all over Madisonville, TN to get gas and visit stores - we were never out of touch with one another.

YOu people sure are fortunate you have me on your side.

 

I'll be there on Thursday. Either in the Z4 or I may have a surprise.. But, I am willing to lead groups if needed.

More than half the rooms we blocked are gone. The lodge will give us extra rooms at the same rate - but only if other groups haven't used all theirs.

 

Well I am already on list so must have seen I'll be there Thurs. whenever Diana and I finish driving some curves coming north till Mon AM.

I call Lodge and get a list of reservations every week - I do that cause some dont post here, they see it on Facebook and call.
I can usually figure out who is who. With the list being alphabetical, you were #1.

 

Ok, not sure how many will read this - but a few of you on the list do not have reservations - or you didn't as of Thursday.

Just know that the lodge is filling up with us and two other groups, if you think you are going to call in August and reserve a room, know that you are going to MAYBE get a cabin - the lodge is booking up fast.
I think the new management has done a lot of aggressive marketing. THis spring, the lodge was sold out as were all, well, not ALL but a lot of Garden and Cabana units - that's how I ended up in a cabin.

PLEASE do not message me or Gary this fall asking us to figure something out, we couldn't before and we cant now.
Things are different at Fontana these days....................
