Itinerary and Maps for proposed activity on Friday and Saturday. Sunday will be a freestyle day.

Friday meeting at 2:00PM in Baymont Hotel lobby.

Bring your MAPS application for your planning. Also, be sure to bring your FRS radios. We will need them as cell service can be spotty in some areas.

Well it looks like I will be solo for this trip. My wife has a reunion and my daughter already has plans for the weenkend of the GTG. I will see you all there sometime on Friday evening.

Restaurant Choices for Dinner Friday and Saturday. look over the various offerings and we'll decide where you would like to go. Tjhe restaurants in Roanoke are abput 30 miles away. Rocky Mount only has one non-chain restaurant. IPPY's. My suggestion Ippy's for Friday night and one of the Roanoke locations for Saturday.

Local Ippy's Restaurant & Lounge - Ippy's Restaurant & Lounge
Roanoke HOME - River and Rail Restaurant
Roanoke FITA ? Fork in the Alley ? Fork
Roanoke Steakhouse, Roanoke, VA | Restaurant, Roanoke, VA | The Great 611 Steak Company
Roanoke Family Dining Roanoke, VA | Montano's International Restaurant

Crossfires in Moonshine Country
For those who don't get to the hotel early enough to participate in the scheduled run leaving at 2:30, here is an interesting place to check out. It is about a 15 minute drive from the hotel. https://twincreeksdistillery.com/

Time is getting close. Clean 'em up and head 'em out.

We will be using Channel 2 on the GMRS radios for communicating, unless there is interference, then use Channel 4. Will make it official at Check-in

Thanks. As of now I am still coming. My mom has been in the hospital and just got out and hopefully we'll have coverage for this coming weekend. It's highly likely it will just be me. Kathy, unfortunately won't be coming. I should be there around noon or so on Friday. If things change I'll let you know. Looking forward to it. How many people do we have now?

Looks like reasonable weather in Moonshine Country --- Mid 80s, Low 60s at nite, spotty showers, 10 - 20% chance of rain - Sounds like a good time to go topless. (cars only).
There will be a registration table somewhere in the lobby with information about the activities.
Please print the attached maps for Friday and Saturday. See you on Friday -- Drivers mtg in lobby at 2:00PM.

Very cool when when our local events are recognized in a local newspaper

In attendance was:
Shamrock - Wayne and Jane
PNA - Paul
Tar Heel David - Dave and Mary
BSomers - Bill and Jackie
Gonracn - Dennis
Iamfink2 - Pat

It was a great GTG hosted by Wayne and Jane. Some nice and easy riding through the mountains on and off the Blue Ridge Parkway.
