As the registration payments are received, I will mark your payment on the attendee list in post #2 of this thread with an asterisk * for each person paid. Your event registration MUST BE PAID NO LATER THAN MAY 30, 2021 so we can advise the hotel on the number of people attending the group meals. On behalf of the 2021 Crossfire Fun in the Ozarks (Round 6) planning committee, THANKS . . . See you in Eureka Springs!
I just saw the announcement about the Eureka Springs Rally. Brenda and I would like to come to the event, but we can only be there Sunday and Monday, with a chance of staying through Tuesday afternoon.
We are one day late for the registration fee. Are we out of luck?

Hello Robert, We would be happy to welcome you and Brenda to join us this year . . . Since you will only be with us for the Monday morning group breakfast meeting (and not for the Thursday end of event dinner), please send the $50 event registration that will cover BOTH of you. Please advise details of the Crossfire you will be driving (year / color / model / coupe or roadster). I posted the attendee list as being your 2005 Black SRT6 coupe but I can easily change that if you reply quickly. I have added you and Brenda to the attendee list.
Re: Crossfire Fun in the Ozarks (Round 6) June 13, 2021 to June 18, 2021
If I remember correctly, there is a Mustang event the week before ours. I think the hotel alerted us to that fact. Crossfire early arrivals on the 13th may not have a room ready until late afternoon due to Mustang group checking out on the 13th.

Re: Crossfire Fun in the Ozarks (Round 6) June 13, 2021 to June 18, 2021
Just an FYI - in years past, I remember being hot and sweaty all week. THIS year, that probably won't be the case - we are seeing highs in the 60's and 70's and low down to 50-55F.
Bring a light jacket and/or sweaters and (I hate to say it) but be prepared for periods of rain. We seem to be locked in a "forever spring" this year.
It won't constantly rain, but it looks like the periods of rain will continue.

Bob Davis, I would like to talk with you regarding tips, do's and don'ts on trailering a Crossfire to the event. Please give me a call at 404.245.5481 to discuss or pm me your number and I will call you. Thanks. Lars Keller
Re: Crossfire Fun in the Ozarks (Round 6) June 13, 2021 to June 18, 2021
Started prepping for trip from SC to AR. Checked under the hood earlier this week. Wheels were detailed last week. Detailed interior yesterday (not driving anywhere now). Started washing exterior sections & applying sealant. Did the front & rear fascias yesterday. Did the front & rear quarter panels plus hood today. Covered car up as we are supposed to get pretty good rains for next couple of days. Should finish door panels & top this weekend.
Update: Finished up the exterior detailing on Friday. Car looks pretty good right now. Now only a few last minute items to deal with.

Kern had offered to do a PERFORMANCE DRIVING CLASSROOM session for us last year but his offer came too late for me to incorporate it into our event schedule. Kern has graciously offered to share his expertise again this year. Kern says, "I can easily fill four hours with info that many drivers have never heard and will probably find beneficial in their every day driving".
EDIT 04-23-21: The PERFORMANCE DRIVING CLASSROOM will be split into two sessions. The first session is 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday the 15th - The second session (more advance instruction) will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday the 16th. Both sessions will be held in our meeting room at the hotel conference center. We we will have some runs scheduled for both Tuesday and Wednesday departing from the conference center parking lot shortly after the Performance Driving Classroom sessions.
Kern's presentations are generously offered to our Crossfire group at NO COST! I need to get interested attendees to sign up in advance for his PERFORMANCE DRIVING CLASSROOM session so we can prepare appropriately.
PLEASE PUT A POST IN THIS THREAD IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND KERN'S PERFORMANCE DRIVING CLASSROOM session . . . I will add your name to the attendee list that I will update below . .

It goes without saying that for those attendees traveling considerable distances (to meet with others in Eureka Springs) to travel & drive safe. Folks are getting out with the Covid-19 pandemic impact reducing and, having been cooped up for a year or better, folks sometimes forget about proper road manners & etiquette. Looking forward to seeing fellow Owners in Eureka Springs.

Anyone going to the Crossfire Fun in the Ozarks event interested in making a 3 hour run to BIG DICK'S HALFWAY INN AND BAR ON THE LAKE OF THE OZARKS? Hit me up at the event. I'm going either alone or will lead a group. We would also like to make a run to some nearby wineries too. Advise if anyone is interested.
