What an awesome time. I never thought a Crossfire Event could match the Tail of the Dragon for fun - but this one sure did.
The Annual "Crossfire fun in the Ozarks" meet was a total success.
Thanks to Red Dog, the planning committee, The Best Western Inn of the Ozarks staff, Bob and Patti Tetu, Zachary Joslyn, Sasha ThePilot, Kern Fisher and all the attendees - you made my week.

31 Crossfires (plus the one Lars bought), and four of our members arrived in non-Crossfire vehicles.

Mr Red Dog:
It is ironic you are stepping down from this event at this time - because you pulled off one HELL of a good event. The tech day and driving classes made the schedule way too tight, and our daily runs were too short - and yet, this was the best event I've been to in a LONG time. We finally did an event that was not just driving around the area on the same roads we have been on for years - we saw two Crossfires sell in four days, we learned real driving techniques that we all need, we fixed over a dozen cars, we did so many mods I can't count them all, we taught new people about their car - both on the road and on tech day.
Even the parade went off without a hitch.
This was an epic Ozarks event, you did not do it all yourself, but you inspired and instigated it. My hat is off to you, and I hope we can build on the legacy that you and the Pylant's have established here. My best wishes to Annette in her new role and many thanks for your work in making this event what it was this year.
You went out on one hell of a high note.
Mark

Roberta & I made it to Cookeville TN w/o a hitch. At a convenience stop (bathroom break for us) off US60E, the SRT6 twins from Nashville & Danimal pulled in shortly after we did. We stopped a short time later for gas down in Sikeston. Shortly after we pulled onto US60E off I57, we saw the 3 of them at the gas stop & Huddle House off the ramp.
Great time this week in ES-AR. Many thanks to all that put this event together.

Roberta & I made it back to SC around 11:30 AM. Traffic flowed better than I anticipated. We did get into a log jam where I40 meets I26 in NC. I26 under major construction to add lanes due to traffic volume. Crossfire really cruises at 80-85 mph - hardly broke a sweat!

I was home in 43 minutes Thursday night.

Kat & I made it to Alma MI. by 12:30 AM. Drove straight through. MI had two major road issues, 196 was closed due to crash so the western route was not going to happen and while taking the road to the central road north there was a lane closure due to concrete missing from the right lane.

So, the driving classes were very helpful. I bought the book below from the instructor.
He says I will be outdriving Zachary Joslyn in no time!

Purchased a nice Crossfire display item at the Ozark Mountains GTG this past week. New item is the one showing color background. Color changes when turned on - 5 patterns available. Looks good with my other display items. Thanks, Annette.

So here is how it went down, Robert McCubbin and I stopped to get gas in Eureka Springs at the end of our Peel Ferry Run.
An SUV of ladies pulled in and they said that they liked our cars - and asked if they could have their pictures taken IN our cars. How long do you think it took us to say "yes"?
