32 sign-ups with a month and a half to go. Not bad! We ought to hit 40+ by early June. It's the pontoon boats drawing a crowd!

Wrong.

Its "Mark's Mystery Tour" featuring the "creepiest town in Arkansas" that is drawing the big crowds.
Your confusion is understanable, tho.

So looking forward to it. It is going to be an eventful trip all around spanning 18 days. Will be seeing so many new places along with some familiar ones I want to revisit. Thanks to all putting this together.

Looking forward to seeing ya there
This has become my favorite event overall
It all started in June 2015 and has earned its place on our Crossfire calendar.

I am on call this weekend (yea, three day weekend and I'm on call), just so I can have that week off.
I"m earning this one!

Roberta & I will leave for Paducah KY on Saturday, 06/11. We'll take more time than trips before as Roberta had a full knee replacement on her right leg in early April. Probably will need to make more stops than on previous trips to let her get out & stretch.

Starting to get the 2007 Coupe ready for the trip. She needs an oil change and some detail work (not much - I keep her pretty clean).

Changed oil, checked tires and fluids today, just need some polishing and wax. Found several places to be out of stock on Mobil 1 5w40.

Completed the oil change today on the 2007 Coupe. While up on ramps, did visual inspections of underside (suspension, steering damper, transmission, steering linkage, etc.) & underhood (fluid levels, drive belt, crankcase breather & valve cover oil leakage, etc.). Everything passed with flying colors. Even executed the "dreaded" FSS reset - took me 2 tries though! Also polished & waxed the rocker panels on both sides while Coupe was on ramps - whole lot easier to access & less strain on my back! Update - You might know I'd forget to polish & wax the underside of the front bumper while it was on ramps! Senior moment!

We are going to cancel our plans to attend this year's Crossfire GTG in Eureka Springs. We really hate to do this as we look forward to this event. But something has come up that prevents us from being able to travel.

Anyway, that freed up a room with a king size bed on the 2nd floor by the stairs that are located just past halfway down Building D.

Everyone have a great time & drive safe.

Later,

I'm sorry I will not be attending
I have not missed any of these Ozarks events but I had eye surgery on May 11th to repair a detached retina and had to have a second surgery just yesterday and simply can't make the trip from the Chicago suburbs all the way to Eureka Springs
I currently have no vision from my left eye as I recover and need to see my surgeon for a follow up next week
I never anticipated this surgery to complicate my vacation but it truly has
I wish all of you safe travels to and from this event and wish everyone a terrific week together

Gary
