Wife & I participated in the Dragon Rally XXXI held by Smoky Mountain Drives on Saturday, OCT 14, 2023. Group is limited to 50 cars but anyone can enter as long as the driver is 18 or older, has a valid driver's license & can prove insurance coverage. Quite a weekend event and everyone was really pleasant & cordial (there are always a few 'better than you' individuals and we just avoided any contact with them). Our total drive was around 280 miles and we left Hub129 around 9:45 AM and got back to HUB129 around 4:45 PM. We made 4 rest stops for fuel (for those that needed it) and to eat any snacks we brought along or purchased at gas stop (no stops for lunch which was fine as we had plenty of snacks to keep us going). Thought I had driven nearly all of the roads in & around Fontana, Robbinsville, et al, but our route included some roadways I'd never been on. (Attached is a map of our route; Pictures below).
I've got a walk-around video of the cars that participated. If I can get it reduced sufficiently to upload, I'll share with the Forum.

We drove up on Friday, OCT 13th, & stopped over at Tapoco Lodge for lunch. When we came out of the lodge after, these cars were parked along the front.
Found these cars (group was just up to run the roadways but wasn't part of our Rally on SAT) at HUB129 on Friday, OCT 13th, when we stopped on our way to Alcoa, TN to check-in at the hotel we booked lodging at (a little hard to find a room as Tennessee was playing Texas A&M in Knoxville). We saw a lot of vehicles with Texas plates at our hotel.
