There are rooms with two double beds or a single king available.
The rate is $129/night for Thursday and Sunday, and $229/night for Friday and Saturday, for an average daily rate of $179 + tax.
Yes, the rates did go up a little from last year, but so did all of the hotels the committee contacted.
Please be aware you *must call* in your reservation, NOT make it online! 706-878-2191 then Option 3.
You have until August 17th to make your reservation, and cancellations after that date will have penalties!

Please submit a reply on this thread once you have made your room reservation with your name, name of anyone attending with you, what Crossfire you are planning to bring, and where you are from and I will add your name to the attendance list maintained here inPost #2

There is a limited amount of rooms available: 50 rooms. That's all there are.
Be courteous to those who are definitely going to go. If you are going to cancel your reservation, please post up here on the Crossfire Forum first to see if anyone needs it.

Please note, just like last year, the committee is not charging any fees for expenses. Just make your reservation, and please be sure to reply here with your name, name of anyone attending with you , your hometown and Crossfire color and type you are bringing. All of your committee members are volunteers who have worked hard to put this event together and keep it going. Want to give back? Please consider volunteering in any capacity, especially as run leaders, route planners and we would really like to plan to add some "side quests" to places of interest, such as local events, kart tracks, etc. We would also like to have the opportunity to offer prizes for distance covered, and door prizes. If you are interested in donating funds or items for that, we would sure welcome them!

I see some folks are checking in on Wednesday the 16th. The group rate starts on Thursday the 17th.
My question is, is there anything going on group-wise on Thursday? I'd be arriving in the evening on our check-in day, and want to make the most of the event. Do I miss anything on Thursday by checking in that evening instead of Wednesday?
And I'm assuming there are activities on Sunday since folks are checking out on Monday?
