Schedule A service wrench with clock is displayed but only have 320 miles on new 2005 Roadster Limited... This is pre-configured lease car built in 12/2004 so assume original fluids and oil have been in car since then. Dealership says not enough miles on car and should ignore the indicator till at least 1,000 miles. I plan on purchasing the car after lease is over and want to do the right thing for the car and myself...

Any suggestions on what is the correct action that should be taken? Someone suggested that I take the car in to have the service interval indicator reset to 7,200 miles..
