Midwest and Canadian owners
Anyone in the midwest or canadian owners near the midwest are invited to attend our michigan crossfire meet and cruise. We are meeting on the 4th of June and then cruising to a car show. Anyone is welcome to attend. For more details, you can look at the information here https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=10547 or send me a p.m. I hope some of you can attend and see you June 4th.
Re: Midwest and Canadian owners
Yes we are having some few Canadians that are planning on attending. On the forums his name is ZHCS27 and he is planning on bring along 10 other XF owners. Here is the plan so far for people coming from Canada.
- 9:00 AM: Canadian meet on Pitt Street, next to the DCCI building, to go across the border
- 10:00 AM: Canadian and US Crossfire meet at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum
- 10:30 AM: Cruise to Ypsilanti (Near Ann Arbor)
- 1:00 PM: Ypsilanti Orphan Car Show
- 4:00 PM: Leave Car show to drive back to the Walter P. Chrysler Museum
- 4:30 PM: Drive back to Canada
If you want more information on the canadian side of things please PM ZHCS27 or click on the link that I posted above. That is the main page where we are discussing things and updating information. Also if you are planning on going send me a message so I can add you to the list, also if you want let us know what type of XF do you drive.

Re: Midwest and Canadian owners
Hello and welcome XFire N, this link should give you the location of our Canadian rendezvous for the cruise in Windsor Ontario:

Hope this helps, but i understand that coming from Woodstock it might be easier to drive through Sarnia to get there, so if you want to meet us at the Museum directly your will be more then welcome, just let us know and see you there.

Keep sending your responses to FUZZ 40. More is better!

Wow, that sounds really great. We can't join because we have an IHRA race in Grand Bend that weekend. But it's in Canada! Hopefully we'll be too busy going rounds on Sunday.
You guys all parking together in a reserved area...you'll be the bomb!!
Make sure to post lots of pics!

yes to both questions.
We'll all park together on the north side of the show field in a reserved area. All I need to do is let him know how many XF's and what type of identification symbol we'll have on our dashes (probably just a 3 x 5 card with an XF - I'll supply).

Harbor
Re: Midwest and Canadian owners
That sounds awesome!!! As of right now we have anywhere from 20-30 cars going. Is that to vague of a number? We have had several people said they are brining other people with their xf's but they didn't know for sure how many. So do we need a defendant number or will 20-30 cars be sufficient?
Re: Midwest and Canadian owners
From my end I'll know for sure by Wednesday next week how many people from Canada are in and i have a few that will meet us at the WPCM cause they live in the US but work in Canada.
But kudos' to both of you, you did a great job so far, this will be a great day.

Re: Midwest and Canadian owners
Hopefully directions will be posted this weekend from the museum to the show but harbor and I are waiting to compare the route that I found to the one the museum provides. Hopefully this weekend we will have that all worked out.
This should be a great meet and a great chance to meet people, exchange stories, and all those good things.

People that are confirmed coming are now 8. One of the confirmed people said they where having 6 more come but have not confirmed that yet. Also Harbor said he was going to get around 6-8 as well but we haven't confirmed those either. I am going to find out this weekend out of the people I asked who is going.

As of right now we have a confirmed 10 going with another possible 10 or more going. As far as directions are consider the route we are planning to take is: this one.
Also does anyone think that brining walkie talkies would be a good idea? In case we get separate on the cruise we could just use those to talk instead of try to call each other. Just an idea, so what do you think.
