Default Total emblem removal?

Has anyone removed the entire Chrysler emblem (wings) from either front on back.
I am considering doing just that and would like to look before I leap if possible.
The darn things are just too big in my opinion. They horse up a tasty car design.
Looking forward to replies.

I'm hoping that it is a simple glue issue, which is the more normal technique these days.
But just in case... perhaps someone has tried it.

the wings are recessed into the panels... one would need to fill the hood edge & deck lid to smooth things out accordingly. as well as... eliminating mounting holes in the metal.

I had the emblem off of the back of my coupe for about a month while waiting for the body shop to finish. I've got a picture and will post later this evening when I get home. Andrew is right...it looks a bit weird with the recess in the body. It would take some fancy body work to make it look like it was never there. I'll get back to you on this with a picture.

I'm doing it to mine, taking it to the shop this week to have it looked at.

I wait with "baited breath" to hear what you find out.
My guess is the difference has to be dramatic improvement.

Well...I had that picture posted here: http://s5.exoload.com/uploads/506/1147922828.jpg

But they must have tossed it. Having a little trouble finding the original. I'll keep looking.

I'm taking the car monday to have the emblems taken off the back. I'm having everything smoothed out. I'm going to have something in polished billet made for the front. You can see my post in the exterior section for details.

I'm waiting to see your result and also realize I need to see how the new grille looks/would look with the emblem gone and the space filled.

Sorry for the delay getting back. Thanks for the offer to send me my picture (crossfirefun), but that link is now working for me also . Hope it gives some idea what no emblem will look like. I considered having it filled also, but I was concerned about what to do with the wing. It has a cut out for the top of the emblem...so that presents another issue to deal with. I just left the badge off and put the emblem back on. I might consider making an aluminum replacement in the future.

Well, maybe we can get a group to buy some filler plates. I'm in.
