Ashtray light?

Ashtray light?
When I take the ashtray out it looks like there is some sort of light in the back of it. But it doesn't seem to ever be on. Maybe my bulb is broke. If anyone has a working light, does it only come in a certain condition, like the glovebox light comes on when the car key is in the on/run position.

If your courtesy lights are off, then none of your interior/trunk lights are going to work. Check the slide switch on the overhead courtesy light unit.
