Hi all, first I'm new to this forum so I'm sorry if this thread exist already, I'm been searching and I didn't found nothing, is it possible that I can switch the ashtray with the cigarette thing(sorry don't know the name of it), I want to do a little project but it only can happen if I can switch it.

But it's a multi project
1. I'm going to replace de stock stereo with an iPad, but I want it to connect to the 12v of the cigarette lighter socket so when I turn my car on the iPad would turn on as well,

2. A full OEM push start button(was thinking installing it where the cigarette lighter is at, like a gtr look)

3. I saw this video here that when I get close to the car the spoiler automatic lifts up

4. And just rearrange some switches so it could look better with the iPad and push to start

 

Anything like this?

 

iPad and switches yes! But I want the iPad to stay in the car like any normal double din touch screen

Did you saw the cigar lighter tap? Well imagine if that was the start button but I want it to switch it with the ashtray or remove it since I don't smoke
