GEE Guys and Gals, When I posted this about 6 months ago everyone said it was too expensive. Personally, I think they are great and you can customize the etching for a little more.

 

6 months ago, I had two kids in college...one of them graduated! Time to celebrate not having to pay tuition! (Still have another one in college but, hey...one down...one to go!)

 

I understand, believe me but I hope the investment pays off long term. So far, so good. I put electrical disconnect plugs on mine so I can use the cigar lighter when cruising and the battery pack when parked or at a show.

Actually they are red !!!

 

MYCROSS is correct. They are red. They actually look very red at night. I may change to blue for my blue roadster.

Received ours day before yesterday "Blue Illuminated" standard hope to put in this weekend, it is really a nice quality part and really neat lit up.
Really need to read all the posts before ordering, missed the 10% but not worried about it, your windscreen is great. Wife loves it.

Just posted my SLK230 on e-Bay, auction scheduled to start Monday the 26th at 8:00 p.m. central, and it has one of Robert's Wind Restrictors with blue lighting. e-Bay item number: 110096789599. I have some very good photos of it on the auction page.

The Wind Restrictor is incredibly well designed and I love it so much that very soon I will have one on my new Crossfire.

I love my custom etching and have received lots of compliments. I've always thought a custom "Crossfire Club" logo of some kind would be awesome but it is so difficult to get a consensus. Kind of like the custom grill, we all have different taste. This is a good thing or we would all be driving A.M.C. Gremlins.
